| Are you guys mad because of the abbreviation? That was intentional, ya know! Crusade is still my favorite SSB fan game! Just made this to give people something to play while 9.1 is in development. What is the issue? |

You do know that this game is free... right? I don't see why Steam is such an issue. I have nowhere else to put it(except dropbox...)! |

| The only issue with Steam is that you must download it and GMS. And the whole "copyright". I'll upload the game there when it is in a better state. (AKA when it has 3 characters) |

But Steam is not the safest place out there, especially if Nintendo is involved. |

They shouldn't be, but you should probably take it down and put it on GameJolt, then I'll test it out. |

Download the game here: http://gamejolt.com/games/super-smash-brothers-combat/221564
To ensure you get updates faster than anyone else, download Game Maker Studio free onto your Steam and subscribe to Super Smash Bros Combat(by using the same link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=788943558&searchtext= )
Yes, I'm aware of the dangers of putting fan games on Steam. Can we just talk about the game itself? Do you like it? What would you want to be improved? |

| Sorry to post the same game twice! A lot of people didn't actually try the game when I first mentioned it. Anyway, what characters would you like to appear in the game? Tell me by filling out the survey here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScDsGzY5abyuhV6T5FhkVNQT5yxGcbaWBOsISp5uBtR3U8z2Q/viewform
You can also just straight up suggest characters here. I'll take consideration of that character when making the next survey. Also, when filling out the survey, PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

| Alrighty, the game is on GameJolt now so I'll give it a shot. I'll leave my thoughts here in a little while.
EDIT: Here are my thoughts on the game:
"I couldn't even start a match" "I couldn't select a character" "The only playable characters are Ness and SHREK" "There was text at the beginning of the game, but the text was black and the background was black so you couldn't read it." "I never actually played the game and I think it's awful."
I recommend updating the game and making it so people can actually play it. |

I recommend updating the game and making it so people can actually play it. Wow... some harsh but informative criticism. I'll apply these fixes in the next patch. Here is a solution to all of your issues: General: Please configure your controls first. It is recommended that you use a controller. 1. To start a match, drag a coin onto a character. Make sure at least two characters are selected. To turn on a bot, go to the yellow button and press it. 2. To choose a character, use the glove to pick up a coin and drag it to a portrait. Use the jump button to grab and release coins. 3. The game is early in development! 4. My bad. Surprisingly, you're the only person out of more than 5 who played this game who couldn't read that text... wonder why. 5. Doesn't mean you haven't played the game doesn't mean it is awful! It just has bad menus. Stay(put say before... LOL!) optimistic my friend!

| 1. Please stop double posting, there is an edit button. If you are posting later, delete the first post and copy everything into a new one. 2. I managed to play a game, it's alright. 3. It's ridiculous that you have Ness & SHREK. I'm not surprised by the lack of characters. I'm surprised about Shrek being one of them so soon. I would understand if this was the 80th character, but it's one of the first. 4. I couldn't jump. I don't know why. Maybe I did something strange with the controls, or maybe it's a technical issue with my controller. 5. Stages feel too similar too one another. I'm fairly sure every stage was just flat ground. I'm not saying every stage need it's own super unique gimmick, but I am saying that you need to vary the layout a bit. 6. I don't even know what half the stages are. One of the stages has a Moai head but then it's not even in the stage. What's up with that? 7. The Metal Gear Stage (?) has this thing where you can't kill each other. 8. One of the stages had a Star Fox song, but I'm fairly sure it wasn't a Star Fox stage. Same thing goes for Final Destination, which was playing a song from Mario. 9. Ness's ability "PK Flash" doesn't move. 10. Why does Ness taunt before using a smash attack? 11. PK Fire comes out too slowly. 12. PK Thunder comes out too high and is tiny. 13. The Fourth Player's "Stock" text is bigger than the others.
I think that's about it. There's potential here, but the menus need a lot of cleanup. Just turning the black text white would do the trick.
EDIT: I took a look at the survey, but instead of adding "new" characters to the series, you should bring in the classics first. Mario and Link should get in before Klonoa or Shovel Knight.
I'm just sayin'. |

I'm just sayin'. Okay, I'll stop double posting! Anyway, thank you for all of your feedback. Just note the reason why the roster is so wild is simply because this is planned to be a tiny project that is planned to have only 10 characters. That is why I am trying to avoid wasting my time including characters everybody has played already. Also, I am trying to finalize the stage roster to have a foundation to improve off of. That is why stages are so boring. | Real talk here.....
Releasing a game this early is useless. I know you've been working on this for a while and you're itching for other people to play it, but the only feedback you'll be getting here is negative and reluctant niceties.
Think about what you want for this game. Do you just want to make it? If that's the case, why should anyone want to play it? What's the draw here? We could just go to better, more well-polished games. Now if you had some original content (ie no shrek, ness), hell, if you had MORE content, people would be interested.
At this moment, there is no reason why anyone should play your game besides novelty.
I'm not trying to sound harsh here.....I just think it's a little premature. |

I'm not trying to sound harsh here.....I just think it's a little premature. The game isn't as early as I first described it. The game is now passed it's Alpha stage, and I am having people play it to give feedback on the gameplay. If I didn't do this, applying huge changes to gameplay would be harder to apply due to the fact there is a larger cast. I do not know what you mean about "original" content. When I hear that term, I think original characters... which would defeat the whole point of a fan game like this. Is Ness considered original? Why? Is it because he is from the official titles? Well, I actually wanted to avoid this "original" content of your's simply because it is a waste of time. We all played the character, making them again is pointless. The only reason why Ness is here is simply because I needed a simple character that veterans can come with ease with to quickly understand the global changes to the gameplay when compared to official titles. Adding more veterans would be silly! The reason why I made this game is simply because I feel like there isn't enough quality smash games that mess around with the formula. So I made this game to fill that void for myself and anyone else who feels that way. Also note that I want people to test out my game to add improvements, not for them to actually play it like a finished product they should be enjoying. The game clearly needs more work. Lastly, did you even play the game? The roster is tiny, but everything has lots of effort put into it. You didn't notice all that work? |

| I don't think you understood what Nix has said. You need to put more content into your game, if you don't, people will not play it. My dream is to become a Video Game designer, I have to make original content from there. I made my fangame for practice and fun.
The whole point of a Smash fangame is to put your heart into it, and it sounds like you're shoving it up into our faces too much. Chill...
Also, why the hell did you add Shrek? smh |
