Klonoa, the World's First Flying Cat, wakes up in Super Smash Bros Crusade!




Hey Pac-Man, it looks like you have a fan! Don't be shy, go say hello!



Most of Klonoa's attacks are preformed using his trusty Wind Ring, which he takes with him on every adventure! It has quite a few different abilities, including creating a reflector shield, as Ness is about to find out the hard way!



Klonoa's main method of attacking in his games was always the Wind Bullet, which allowed him to grab, carry and toss enemies. This ability is Klonoa's Neutral Special! You can even throw opponents into each other for more damage. What a dastardly maneuver!



Klonoa, being known mostly for his grabbing, is able to do something no other Crusader can do: he has a full set of throws and a pummel for when he is in the air as well! Air throws work different from ground throws, so there is a use for all of them.



Not only could Klonoa toss the enemies he grabbed in his games, he could also use them to perform a special Jump, shoving the enemy downwards. This has also been translated into Crusade!



Throwing is not all Klonoa can do, however. He has several other weapons and abilities in his vast arsenal. Will his dream become his opponents' nightmare?

Wow.

I've never been excited for a third party character before. It's mainly because he's now somewhat in the "obscure" category (debatable) and I like "obscure/lesser known" characters joining crossovers and other fighting games. For me, they make said games worth playing, not the "popular/iconic/most wanted/highest voted" characters.

Now this I can get behind! A character that's got something that sets him apart from the rest of the cast! I really hope we see more surprises that mix things up. Wonderful work amigos.

Sirs, if I may be so bold? It has been quite some time since this dojo had been updated previously, and the absence of elaboration on the project is making me quite concerned. Is it simply that there is no further news to speak of, or (on a foolishly hopeful note) have you decided to stop updating due to the demo's nearing release?  Smile

They all needed a break, they did a TON of work for APEX, so I think a slight break would be fair Smile No rush!

This update was made a month ago. There's a break, and then there's neglect. Now, I'd gladly withhold my assumptions of truancy if there was even the slightest bit of affirmation that progress is being made, but lo and behold, one month later and still we are left in the dark.
Why is this, sirs?
But please, I beg of you, do not mistake my anticipation for ungratefulness; a good answer is all that I ask.

Well considering they worked their butts completely off, I think it's fair that the dojo is on hiatus, they are still most likely working on the game as well just not updating the dojo. Just be patient and what you want will come.

(They no longer have butts, wait for the butts to regrow)

We're working hard to draw in on a release date eventually, but the work being done right now isn't exactly stuff that can be physically shown. Just be patient, the game is always being worked on.
