That's what I thought as well, though after watching the slow-motion playback, the ball appears to not change it's path at all, so I don't think it touched it. I then figured it may have hit the cup or table and that's what caused it to move, but after watching it slowly, the arm moves before the ball touches anything.
I think it is possible that the ball tapped the arm, but I personally don't think it did, and I hope not.. cause I want there to be hope in toys being alive! lol

My little brother has that toy. The arms are "connected", so when one arm moves the other one slightly does as well.
Most likely the ball just hit it.

If so, wouldn't the arms move backward and not forward?
THIS WILL END IT

They may be elasticated, causing them to spring up.

Also, wouldn't the toy fall over if it got hit by a gumball at that velocity?
