| Looks like it's just the generic galaxy that Mario's ship exists in.
Also this wasn't mentioned, but the picture of the Villager grabbing Link had a pretty interesting bit of info that went with it. Apparently Villager's Net is his grapple move, like Link's Clawshot or Samus' Grapple Beam. |

The planet you fight on is based off of Gateway Galaxy, the first level of Super Mario Galaxy. |

| The Windy Hill Windmill is confirmed to be a hazard, apparently it's so big that if you stand on it for too long it will carry you out of the play zone. |

| Windy Hill seems to be the the Wii U version's New Pork City / Temple.
From what we've seen anyways. |

Perhaps, I do, but we'll just have to wait and see... |

| I wouldn't be surprised if they announced Young Link as an alt-costume for Toon Link. |

That wouldn't make any sense. If it were the Outset clothes, it would. |

I would be, if I were to expect someone it'd probably be Zelda, but that's just me... |

That wouldn't make any sense. If it were the Outset clothes, it would. Not really, one thing we do have to realise is that this is a whole new official Smash game, which means that really anything goes. I understand it's important to have rules for inclusions into fangames but official games can write the rules, so if they wish to add a secondary character as a costume because it operates the same they should be allowed to. I mean think about it, there are a lot of fighters around that have extra characters made as simple skins, and hell, before Brawl we would have thought 3rd party characters an impossibility. |

I can't say that the man, who believes that Dr. Mario would be a poor alternative costume choice for Mario because Dr. Mario doesn't throw fireballs, would be very open to that. Outset or Conductor Link would be the best options. |

Outset or Conductor Link would be the best options. Sakurai said that about Dr.Mario? I still think it's possible, but I guess we'll see. It's about time Smash got some proper alt costumes IMO. |

| But then again, that is not 100% certain (not trying to get people overhyped).
Notice how when Peach was revealed, Sakurai stated that her current move set is not final. I don't recall the same statement being said when the other vets were revealed (even though their movesets are likely not finalized either).
Not saying that this confirms that Toad is in or not, but seems like a possibility in the fan's view of things. |

| I personally think "a" Toad will be getting in, they could easily do it the way they did Doomsday in Injustice, have Peach use Toad, except when Toad in in the field, then she used an alternate coloured Toad.
Toad has been so prominent in recent Mario games, being playable in all the recent ones but SM3DL, that it's hard to believe he will remain a simple cameo in Peach's moveset. It would also be good to have him because they can finally rep new Mario mechanics in a moveset, seeing as people will seriously bitch if Mario, Luigi or Peach get changed. |

Not saying that this confirms that Toad is in or not, but seems like a possibility in the fan's view of things. All he said was that her moves "may be refreshed" by the release. That doesn't imply that they would be changed (such as replacing her Toad Guard with a different move) but that her moves may look different than what was shown at that point. The same point was discussed on November 1st's picture of Pit charging his light arrow. - Sakurai wrote:
- By the way, we gave a makeover to Pit's pose when he's shooting his bow and arrow so it looks sharper. Do note that all images are still in development. This and past pics may be different from the finished product.
We have seen pictures of him charging his arrows before, and they resembled Brawl's stance. So this is a pure example of the kind of "refreshment" Sakurai was talking about. Another is the Capsule item, which appeared exactly as it did in Brawl in the Developer Direct video, but was shown to have been updated to be shorter and fatter on November 11th. So no, it's a stretch to believe Sakurai's going to change the Toad Guard just so a Toad can be playable later on at this point. - notbro wrote:

| Why does Peach using Toad de-confirm Toad? There's always been multiple Toads, even ones that are the same colour. To take a Smash example, there were a couple of Toads that looked exactly the same as Peach's Toad in Adventure Mode's first level. Peach's Toad didn't change when she used him there. |
