After playing Monster Hunter Tri for roughly 3 years, I was rather exited for next game to arrive in the US, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. At first sight the game is the same as tri aside from some majoor graphical improvements. However after completing the first quest you begin to see some of the new content. The online has been redone so you can switch between the online mode and offline more easily. One of the changes I like most is the fact that right from the start you get one of every weapon type so you can try before you buy new ones, whereas in tri you had to complete certain amount of quests to unlock the rest of the weapons. The game features 12 weapons, Sword and shield, great sword, hammer, lance, long sword, switch axe, and the heavy and light bowguns from tri. It also introduces bows, gunlances, dual swords and hunting horns. Overall I think if you were a fan of tri you should definately check this one out

The controls on the 3DS demo are kinda awkward, I'll likely be getting it for the Wii U.

EDIT: Also I noticed the Hunting Horn is probably going to be overpowered as hell, especially with dual swords in your party as well. Infinite stamina gogogooooo

I wouldn't mind buying it. I enjoyed the Wii U demo, and it would give me something to play on the thing (aside from digital titles).

I need A party anyway so if you guys get it tell me. The only issue is It was pretty much sold out by the time I got to my closest gamestop on release day. So I got 70$ in eshop cash and got the digital version for the slow. slow download of just 6 and a half hours.

I'm not going to be able to get it until May, so you'll likely be too far ahead of me to make use of me in your party.
