AEM's Official Roster Topic -Update 04/23/12-

Changes since last shown roster:

Dixie Kong has been removed.
Leaf now accompanies Red as an alternate costume, but unlike any other alternate costume she has different voice files, so Red wouldn't be considered a cross dresser.
Zoroark has been replaced by Victini.
Ike has been replaced by Krom.
Sheriff has been replaced by Mach Rider.
Slime is in place of random.

Why bring mewtwo back and dump lucario? Do people prefer mewtwo or something?

Otherwise, great roster. Have a slightly uncomfortable feeling at four 3rd parties, but it would still make sense given snakes popularity in brawl. Agree with it otherwise.

Because Zoroark is highly likely to replace Lucario, and Mewtwo is more likely to return than Lucario.

Note, that Mewtwo being on the Roster does not mean he replaced Lucario. Zoroark DOES.

F-Zero does not need another rep because Captain Falcon was included simply because his model fit Smash's prototype characters and the series hasn't done anything noteworthy since 2004.

Ganondorf and Ghirahim on the same roster!?

I find it impossible because Ganondorf and Ghirahim have never been in the same game.. and there was another character that was suppose to replace Ganondorf (im not gonna say his name because its a complete spoiler).

Also, i see the characters in skyward sword style so it'd be hard to put Ganondorf in that type of style aswell... Even though Shiek perfectly fitted the twilight princess style

And I would like to point out that Smash is not canon, and doesn't even feature the real characters anyway, but Trophy manifestations of them.
