Yes yes, I know, this stage was already on Crusade, however, none of the versions it has had hasn't convinced me (and probably, not most of us). Also before I start I probably should say there are spoilers from the Manga/Anime. So here it is, the ultimate stage of Namek!
The battle would start with Goku putting his arms into the air and starting to charge the spirit bomb, Piccolo would teleport were Frieza is and would start fighting with him while Gohan and Krillin watch the fight. If Goku has been choosen then Piccolo would just start fighting Frieza.
The stage would consist of 2 basic platforms, 1 low platform and 1 tall platform, between the platforms there is water were you could fall off. In the background there are lot of islands and you can see Great Elder's home in the background.
After Goku finishes the Spirit Bomb, he would throw it to Frieza, and there would be a big explosion that could destroy some of the islands in the background. After 1 minute, Frieza would appear again and throw a death beam to Piccolo and make Krillin explode, Goku would turn SSJ and Gohan would retire with Piccolo. After Goku beats Frieza easily he would destroy the planet. If someone chose Goku then Frieza would decide to destroy the planet earlier, killing Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin in the process.
After namek is destroyed, the screen turns white and you are in a invisible floor (similar to Castle Siege). Then Namek's layout changes to this:
When Planet Namek is destroyed by Frieza we'll see Goku SSJ fighting Frieza. Porunga may appear too and then dissapear, but the planet won't explode. If Goku is chosen as a character, then Goku, Frieza and Porunga won't appear. The planet will destroy slowly, volcanos would start erupting and lighting would appear too. The platforms on the main platform's side would get destroyed by lava, after 15 seconds the lava on both platforms would dissapear. The lava is an hazard.
I know the stage would be hard to make, it would require lot of sprites and might even take time to load (with hazards on), but Dragon Ball Z would probably only get 1 stage, and if that's the case then it should be pretty good.
It honestly sounds like a bit too much. I like some of the ideas, like having the stage turn volcanic and Porunga appearing, but all this might be a bit much both for the players and the developers.
I do think a dragon cameo is a great idea for any DBZ stage.
I love the idea. I would just have different events in the background start, in random order. Frieza's men going around killing everyone, Z Warriors crash landing, some random fighting, then the memorable Piccolo and Frieza fight, and I'd like to see the stage change colors by summoning the Dragon. This stage needs to be huge and wide open. No pits. Music, anything from classic DBZ.
I think the Spirit Bomb changing the layout is enough. I support this stage though.

Seems like a lot happening and there's a lot riding on the fact that Goku isn't in the match. I'd try and find a way to make the stage work so it'd be the same whether or not Goku is fighting.
