Marvel had already made some retarded decisions for MvC3- they're going to do whatever they can to push their stupid MCU. Sadly that does not include the X-Men.

First gameplay

It's definitely 2v2, no assist character. The Infinity Gems act like V-Triggers from SFV mixed with X-Factor from MVC3

Power gives you some sort of burst attack, Time gives you a teleport, and both give a boost in stats relative to their theme (Power = Attack strength,Time = Attack Speed)

Also note the stage looks to be a mix of Central Highway (Or similar) from Mega Man X and Asgard, fitting in with the story that the Capcom universes and the Marvel universe have fused together.

This could be applicable to all stages, like a Ghosts 'n' Goblins Graveyard merged with the Savage Lands or Suzaku Castle merged with Wakanda.

My only wish is for them to add Dante, Zero, Amaterasu, and Phoenix Wright, then the game will have my money.

Apparently the big baddie is a mix of Ultron and Sigma, based off the silhouette in the reveal trailer.
Note this is speculation.

So I've been checking up on the MVC wiki, and someone's added Jon Talbain and Luke Cage into the characters section, and there's 'character variations' (AKA like MKX) where Spider Man, Thor, Deadpool, Wolverine, Frank West and Dante are also on (Plus Talbain, but no Cap. America and Luke Cage)
Now I doubt this stuff's legit, some guy must've saw some fake leak/rumour
Because Capcom would choose Jon Talbain over Demirti as a new Darkstalkers character

They could be DLC, so Disney doesn't have to share money with FOX as they could lawyer their way to make the point that DLC isn't merchandise. That's probably why X-Men are in that mobile Marvel fighting game.
