Similarly to the various Unofficial/Community posts (Character Data, Boxing Ring Alias, ect.), I thought it would be nice to create some "tips" in a similar style of Smash 4 for various characters, mechanics, and stages in Crusade. Please leave your suggestions; I'll be sure to credit you for them
Pichu-FlailPichu will dash forward to hurt opponents. At 100% or higher, Pichu will shout out his name and KO opponents early on. Lucky for you, it shouldn't be hard to bring yourself to that damage.
Pichu-EndurePichu will surround itself in static. During this state, it will take no knockback, but still take damage. I heard that there is a move that is dangerous when Pichu is injured....
Krystal-
Staff ThrowKrystal will throw her staff ahead of herself, and it will return after a short distance. Try hitting the enemy towards yourself with the Staff's return. How does Krystal hit people with her staff while it is flying through the air? No one knows.
Krystal-Fire VixenWhile it can't be aimed like her fellow pilots, Krystal is invincible during the launch, making it a good escape move. It can also work as a powerful finisher.
Krystal-Krazoa SwordsFour swords will strike ahead of Krystal, trapping and damaging whoever was hit. Even if the trapping hitbox misses, the swords continue to fly, allowing for some collateral damage.
Captain Falcon-Falcon PunchCaptain Falcon prepares his fist as it gets on fire, throwing a powerful punch shaped like a falcon. If the special button keeps being pressed, he will even charge it!
Mr. Game & Watch - ChefMr. Game & Watch's Chef move throws food at your opponent, but the frying pan itself can also be used to burn opponents when you're close enough.
Phoenix Wright-Objection!Shouting this at opponents will turn them around, making it great for stopping recoveries. It will also power up "Take That!", making this a pretty important catch-phrase.
Phoenix Wright-Take That! While it may seem weak at first, it can become very powerful with the use of "Objection!" You can see the power through taunting.
Klonoa-Forward Air AttackKlonoa uses the Wind Sword to attack opponents. While it is somewhat slow, it covers a very large area around Klonoa; it even hits opponents behind him!
Klonoa-Wind BulletKlonoa's ring shoots out a small orb that will pick up opponents. Just like in his games, Klonoa can throw opponents downwards to boost himself up. Try it offstage.
Distortion WorldThis stage will rotate on a regular basis, so you have to watch where you're standing. Even worse, you can't grab onto any ledges.
TetrisNo matter how the blocks fall, they will always end up getting a perfect Tetris. Try not getting stuck under the blocks however.
Outer SpaceAt times, some Asteroids will interrupt the fight. Just like the arcade game, hitting these Asteroids will break them up into 2 smaller versions.
Flat Zone 3This stage is based off of the Game & Watch game called Manhole, where the objective was to keep pedestrians from falling into the water. Don't fall in the water or it will be game over for you.
Multiple Midair JumpsJigglypuff, Petey Piranha, Kirby, and Meta Knight all have 5 midair jumps, while Ridley has 3. Having multiple midair jumps makes returning to the stage much easier if you get launched, though Petey's are lackluster
FloatingPeach, Petey Piranha, Mewtwo, Tails, and Guko can float in the air by holding the jump button. Floating allows you to move quickly through the air, or help by combining multiple air attacks.
GlidingRidley, Meta Knight, and Knuckles can glide. It is activated by holding the jump button while in midair. Gliding can help you return to the stage.
