Cloud Strife [Final Fantasy] Discussion

Discuss whether or not you think Cloud should be added to Super Smash Bros. Crusade.

Yeah, we have a FF stage, but no character. And Cloud is the most requested.

But don't forget to change his Forward Smash into some kind of magic attack.
And give him Braver as his dash attack.

Eh, could fit Down Smash. Looks too much like Finishing Touch.

Hmm...maybe...still need to think more about how to make it work so it looks canon and not broken at the same time.

I agree, Cloud should be in. But I think his Up Special should be changed to Finishing Touch, and make it work like Dissidia Final Fantasy, and maybe remplace his Down Special on Limit mode with Meteorain and in the air a weaker version of Omnislash.
His Neutral Special could be Fire/Firaga but I don't have a problem with Blade Beam, if it is Firaga then Side Smash could be Blade Beam.
Side Special could be Climhazard and have a combo and Down Throw could be Cross Slash.

To be honest, your idea is a big mess, and I'd rather want Cloud's Smash 4 moveset with Braver as dash attack and Fire/Firaga as Forward Smash.

I would prefer if his moveset is a little tweaked to include more materia some how. This just to open room for some of his attacks to be used by requested characters like Magnus (Kid Icarus: Uprising) or Black Knight (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn).
Sm4sh's version of him is totally ok for me as well.

Eh, I think the Limit Breaks are good enough. Give Materia to another FF rep

Materia is specifically an FF7 thing, so unless you want 2 FF7 characters and no other FF repped, that's not a possibility.
