| I kinda wish to join the Dev team (I need the Exp to try to create my own game in the future), but I literally no nothing about coding or spriting. I was wondering if there was someway I could learn from the developers of this wonderful project, I do know how to compose original music (simple tunes though), if you don't want to/can't teach me, that's ok. Anyway that's all. |

| Our development team has neither the time nor resources to deliver training. However, there are plenty of ways to learn on your own and/or via others from guides to communities to hands-on practice, etc. Once you have learned sufficiently, you can always apply for the dev team, and if you possess the talents, you can join the team and further hone your skills within the team. |

| If that is so, what code language do you use? What lines of code would you use to transfer an animation into an actual playable thing? What engine do you use? |

| You're better off learning on the lite version of a newer GM program. I dont even think they offer GM7 any more. |

| They don't and I'm gonna save up for GM:Studio Pro. Will you ever switch to that? |

| @Destiny: As a game dev hobbyist myself, I suggest you start with small and simple games and build up from there. Too many rookie game developers try to make something too big and complicated and end up quitting game development forever. Not saying it's impossible to build a successful huge game in the first go, though. |

| I know that, but I'd rather have my first game on a full engine rather than one that has limits. |

| If you're buying the program solely in the hopes of joining our team, I don't recommend that. Learning will take time and a lot can change over time. If you want to learn for yourself, that's a different story. Even then, I'd still recommend learning off a Lite version first and making sure game development is for you before you go and spend money on it.
We would like to move to GM Studio eventually, however at this time the conversion process would be more trouble than it's worth. |

| well, I plan on being a developer when I grow older. Plus even if things change for the game, I will get the practice and experience to do things.
Also I have the free version but it won't let me use it due to registration, and it won't let me register. |
