NiGHTS soars into battle!

NiGHTS is a playful, kind, and free spirited creature who dwells in the Night Dimension. Although created by the evil Wizeman, NiGHTS is a remarkably mischievous free spirit who did not like taking orders and thus, didn't agree with Wizeman's plans to take over Nightopia and rebelled. Thanks to an Ideya shard imbedded in their chest NiGHTS can dualize with a Visitor, a trick that allows them to escape the Ideya Palaces used to confine them.

Intro: Nights floats down to the ground with a spin.

Playstyle: He is more reminiscent of Mewtwo in that he floats, making him one of the lightest Smashers in the roster.

Combo Attack: Whack!-Punch!-Kick! (The Punch and Kick come from his inflated fist and foot, while the Whack comes from a Tennis Racket, because Sega Superstars Tennis happened and there aren't too many NiGHTS games to work with.)

Standard Attacks: He's floating about with kicks and slaps and such.

Dash Attacks: A Sliding Kick

Arial Attacks: Spinning, lots and lots of Spinning.

Smash Attacks:

Up+SMASH: NiGHTS does the splits while doing a Handstand
Side+SMASH: NiGHTS does a Roundhouse Kick
Down+SMASH: NiGHTS sits in the Fetal Position and then Punches with both Arms on Both sides with both hands being super sized.

Grab: He grabs with Magic, Similar to Zelda... Look, I know I have to be totally original with my movesets, but again, not too many NiGHTS games to work with.

Special Attacks

B: Blue Chips - NiGHTS tosses Blue Chips at Smashers which heal allies and hurt enemies.

upB: Paraloop - similar to Pac Man's upB in crusade except here, completing a circle in your trail can lead to an explosion of Ice or Fire.

sideB: Octopaw - Octopaw spawns rings which NiGHTS glides through as they are made.

downB: Naptime - NiGHTS falls asleep for a bit, and his Yawn has a high knockback rate because, in the words of the mysterious Mr Enter, Potatoes!

Final Smash: "Rise and Shine!" - Awakers Chase the Smashers, if one of them touch an awaker, the smasher is instantly K.O.'d

Taunt: NiGHTS plays his imaginary flute.

Notable Alternate Costumes: NiD outfit, JoD outfit, Claris Sinclair, Elliot Edwards, William Taylor, Helen Cartwright

I soar into battle? I thought 4th parties weren't allowed. It's a joke, don't kill me.

Honestly, you need to stop with "Takes a page from ____'s book!". Every character you've suggested could have their own unique arials, and jabs and everything. Mr.G&W's smashes don't make any sense from what I recall from NiGHTS. So why would we use those?

His/Her down special is Jigglypuffs...
Neutral Special is very specific for team battles and is just a generic projectile in 1v1 or FFAs.

The bits that are unique have little to no descriptions to them. Everyone has a different imagination. "Floating about with kicks and slaps and stuffs" is ambiguous.

I like NiGHTS but I don't like this Moveset.

However, NiGHTS is another decent Sega rep I thought about, and this is better than your previous attempts.

- You should have some background info on the character. Who is NiGHTS? Why should we care about him?
- You need longer descriptions. More in-depth about his playstyle. If it's just like Mewtwo, why do we want him since his playstyle is already present?
- What do his specials even do? Blue Chip projectiles sounds pretty boring. I have no idea what the rings are supposed to represent (though I realize that's the important mechanic in his game). I don't remember what Pac-Man's Crusade ^B is, so expand on that (is it free flight?). Naptime sounds almost identical to Jigglypuff's rest...

If only we could incorporate a free-flying character somehow... not sure how it would be possible.

Okay, I've made my improvements to the moveset and I'd like to see your idea for a moveset.

This is an interesting phenomena. People will support the character instead of the Author, who in this case is banned so any sort of discussion regarding moveset and such won't be updated/edited into the OP. Weird

You guys could just remake the thread instead of bumping it with this history. I doubt anyone would mind, and the person who WOULD mind, Spoon, doesn't really have a say in it.
