Nintendo's presentation today was...underwhelming for lack of a better term. I think the largest thing is that they didn't actually announce anything new.

Nothing newsworthy. Star Fox trailer was the only memorable thing to me and I'm not even looking to get the game either. So I didn't benefit anything from this

Look at the bright side, it's not the Square-Enix E3 conference.

It says a lot that I forgot about this stuff. Also, we already knew a new starfox was in the works. The only game I want to play is mario and luigi paper jam.

We already knew about Happy Home Designer.
Pretty sure the biggest reasons people were disappointed... was that they were expecting huge titles being announced. Something to signal off the Wii U in a glorious moment since the NX will be announced next year. Stuff like Mario Galaxy 3.
Instead, we get a lot of stuff we already knew about, and most of the new stuff that was announced was stuff people really don't care about. It really didn't help that when people wanted a new Animal Crossing on the Wii U and instead they announce a Mario Party clone that requires amiibo to even play; in short, it's basically a cash grab that looks really weak and not that fun based on the trailer. People wanted a new Metroid and we get something that could just as easily not be a Metroid game from the looks of it.
It's a mixture of people expecting too much from Nintendo and Nintendo not having a lot of new, big titles to show off for the rest of 2015; we already knew about them, those being Star Fox, Mario Maker, Woolly World, and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
It certainly was not a complete disaster, as some new interesting things were announced, such as Mario & Luigi Paper Jam and that Pokémon ripoff game coming to the US for the first time, but it was definitely not as amazing as their presentations in the past.
I will say, though. I ****ing loved the muppets. 10/10 Nintendo

I was a bit disappointed with the direct. Especially at the end. I was hoping for something breathtakingly new like a new IP, but that didn't happen. And only one game that was new got more coverage than just a short game-play trailer.
No new Kirby or F-Zero games?

Agreed, if you main bombshell is that Tangled will be in Kingdom Hearts, it's probably best you don't have a conference.

Uhhh Deus Ex gameplay was fantastic. Just Cause 3 (even though i've never played the series) was beyond entertaining Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay was super hype, it looks like they've seriously upped the KH formula FFXIV was probably super hype for those who play it. Hitman looked solid TOMB RAIDER. My god those models. And gameplay was yesterday. New Dragon Quest was probably hype for a lot of people. Other announcements were meh, the new KH mobile game might be interesting but i dont have high hopes.
Square's conference only felt slow/boring because of the demeanors of the actual speakers, who mostly lacked charisma. The actual game showings were phenomenal. The only way it could have been better would have been FFXV and actual gameplay or more information at all with FFVII, and info on Dissidia for PS4. In FFXV's case though, they told us ahead of time that there would be no new info until Gamescom.
I enjoyed the Square conference more than the Nintendo one. Probably just because of my preferences in large IPs from Square.

I got Mario & Luigi combined with Paper Mario so I'm good.
But amiibo Festival is just going to look like a polished pile of dung.

I guess I was honestly just looking for too much. Between Star Fox: Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X, FFVII remake (never played the original), and Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, I have plenty to look forward to while I overdose on smash for wii u.

Considering that like two of the bigs things were leaked, of course people are going to be disappointed.
I thought it was decent. I'm happy with Tri Force Heroes and Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, and Star Fox Zero looks pretty nice at it's current state. Looking forward to see it polished even more as time goes on, like 3D World did before.

Personally, I think it went well, but I'm a bit biased because my favorite Nintendo games are Star Fox and the Mairo RPG's. So, it was great in my opinion. I would have liked to see more heavy hitters though.
