i cant seee characters

I wanted to play ssbc 0.9 and i wasnt even able to pick a character for some reason it starts up but can load the characters i tried my brothers files but also does not work please help anyone i really want to play this awesome game

Are you sure you downloaded both parts of the games and merged them?

This has happened to me before, your computer most likely deleted an important file.
Try temporarily disabling your antivirus and re-downloading. Sorry for the inconvenience.

i tried to disable norton it doesn't help. But what else might i need to download for smash? the weird thing is also that my little brother and i have the same pc what might be the case is that i downloaded programs that conflict with this game but if that would be the case can someone think about what could conflict?

Was Norton on while you were downloading the game? If so, completely remove the game from your computer, and re-download the game fresh while anti-virus is disabled

I turned norton off deleted everything and still when i download it doesn't work.
So what i see is a black screen with top left Crusade middle 3 stock survival test! back
and then there is everywhere in small super smash with crusade0.9 in big but that's everything i get
