| If we were to have a FNAF character, it would make more sense to have the titular Freddy Fazbear. That being said, the last time Freddy was brought up, the idea wasn't that well received due to being rather generic in his fighting style (though that was back when only the original game came out so there was rather little to work with).
I wouldn't imagine Springtrap would go over any better.... |

| The game hasn't even been out for a week. And as GY said, if FNAF needed to be represented, it should be Freddy himself... or at least someone else who has appeared in more than one game. |

| maybe but freddy moveset is very limited unless you take some moves borrowed I chose to springtrap as this taking much prominence in the last game unlike freddy that lost much |

| By the time the character would be completed there will be seven new fnaf games and this guy will no longer seem important |

| Eh, I have to agree with the others unfortunately, as much as I'd love to play as a corpse that's rotting inside a robotic animal suit, Freddy is more iconic and would represent the series as a whole...

| It's pretty unavoidable in saying that FNAF is a contemporary experience and community. I fear when a game receives a community very quickly, because those types of games tend to have a long following, however very steadily and noticeably dying. An eruption of askblogs, LPers, fanwork, pornography, remixes, theories, etc that the first game received within the first 3 months tell me that the community is quickly depleting their material. Sure, new stuff can come up in the community every now and then, including crossovers and assimilation, but that's almost never positive in large quantities. How many times have you seen "Minecraft version" in your search results and related videos? Exactly.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is that FNAF isn't really ready for a representative, even with the established community. If we need a horror game rep, I'd direct my view towards something with age and a widespread, long time following, such as Fatal Frame or Alone In The Dark.
So, for now, no support. Sorry. |

I didn't want to mention Silent Hill and Resident Evil simply because they're given, maybe not as much Silent Hill, but an extreeeeme yes to Eternal Darkness, especially for it's Nintendo exclusivity and unique gameplay. |
