| "Please attempt to add a semi-lengthy amount of text to your topic. Include details such as the character's history and why they should be included."
It can't be that hard. You're either lazy, or an idiot. |

| Freddy, listen. This is not how you should suggest characters. Adding a character to a game like Crusade doesn't take a few minutes. It takes many hours, days or even weeks to make the character functional and that's without balancing him/her yet. So please understand that simply slapping on a character's name along with a half a moveset is not enough. To make a GOOD character topic suggestion you'll have to do A LOT of research. Find out which game(s) the character appears in, what attacks they have, what would make them stand out from the cast, etc. For starters, a picture of your suggested character would be nice. Follow it up with a short description of who the character is and what adventures he/she was on. You should also explain WHY that specific character should be in Crusade. Lastly, about the character's moveset, it's best that you figure out ALL the character's moves BEFORE making a suggestion topic for the character (UNLESS you're willing to update the moveset frequently).
Your character suggestions aren't necessarily bad BUT by not putting enough effort in them makes most people not want to even consider adding them to Crusade. |

| Sackboy definitely is a prime candidate for a mascot brawler such as this one. While I personally prefer other Sony characters like Jak, Ratchet, and Sly, I can't deny Sackboy's appeal. However, once again there isn't much thought put into the moveset. The specials are terrible and no explanations are given. If I never played PSAS, I wouldn't even know what 'Jam Session' is (it's basically a jelly ball projectile that bounces off of stuff until it hits an opponent). 3 jetpack special moves? That's terrible, and literally all 3 can be bundled into just up special by allowing you to choose a direction while charging (ala Fire Fox). Using PSAS movesets can be helpful, but a simple copy+paste doesn't work. - Slissith wrote:

It can't be that hard. You're either lazy, or an idiot. I gotta agree with this, pretty much every one of your topics is half-assed. On a side note, would it be a good idea to include a few exceptional examples in the stickied topic of character suggestion topics? Might help new people see what a topic should look like, rather than trying to mimic the first thing he/she sees. |
