She hasn't been in a game since her debut.
Not counting the 20th Anniversary, where she was still only a part of the game she debuted in.
Even then, being in an unofficial web comic doesn't mean much. I mean even with that popularity if you want to bring BiTF into this, she should be placed in after King Dedede. Who's like the real star of the entire comic.
The moveset is pretty lackluster, and there's a whole lot more to one than just the specials and Final Smash.
When you simply say 'look at x's moves' for normal attacks and just copy off someone else's moveset you just look you don't truly care about the character and think Crusade's dev team just wants to stuff as many characters as possible. If you would look at the roster, you would see that they're trying to added new unique ideas into the smash formula, not just adding in a bunch of filler with one gimmick in each character and call it a day. I mean there has to be a reason why the latest demo took two years to complete, right?
If you want people invested in the idea, you need to show interest in it yourself. Look at the Shantae topic and see the amount of thought put into the original post. If you show no interest in the characters you suggest, nobody will share interest in the character either.
So my advice to you is to:
A) Think of a video game character that's appeared on a Nintendo platform that you'd love to see in the Smash formula.
B) Spend some time thinking of how they could fit in the Smash formula, while being unique from existing fighters in both the official release and Crusade.
C) Then share your thoughts in a paragraph per move. Normal attacks and grabs aren't necessary, but they would certainly help. Those naturally don't have to be a paragraph long, but a description of the action is much better than just saying it's a ripoff of another character's move.
