How about an mode similar to the throphy mode from all the original smash bros. games ?
Its an mode where all the assist trophys, characters and pokemons ( which are in pokeballs ) are viewable with some information about the background and the origin. This would be a cool mode if I imagine this will be with all those cool sprites Smile

Crusade 0.8.4 already had something like this, but some of the character's moves, information or games where they appear were really outdated. and no one really took a look at it

Actually I did.

There was a similar mode in Budokai Tenkaichi. When I had got the game I was mostly ignorant about DBZ, so I actually enjoyed reading the biographies of the fighters. The same also goes for melee when I first played it. In order for such a mode to have a purpose though, it needs to be well written and contain far more information than just a paragraph.

There also is the crusade card idea, which could be really cool. So for example, when you're making a deck for duels, you could also view more information about the character, stage or music piece.

^ I actually did salvage the entirety of Crusade Card Clash on my hard drive. However no one on coding team knows anything about coding a card game so whether it ever happens is, questionable. I still think it's a fantastic idea that's already well thought out and in terms of card art and gameplay, fully completed. Could probably use an update after all this time with new cards from recent games, roster changes, and other such things. But overall it's very well presented and would be awesome to have.

Or you could have just asked me for the data... I still have the old stuff saved. I did make some new cards for the recent Smash 4, but with the new 'revamped' version I had ignored Crusade completely since I was under the impression that it wasn't going to be possible.


As far as trophies in general, perhaps... though I think the coding team prefers working on gameplay elements rather than collectables.

Wait, so the card thing never happened because it was deemed too difficult to code?

Well, what are the practical difficulties in coding a card game? It seems to me that it's just a form of strategy game, which should be the easiest type of game to make.
