Jotaro Kujo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) Discussion [LOCKED]

while this character does originate from a manga and there is a strict "video game characters only" rule, hear me out here: jojo's bizarre adventure owes its entire popularity in the west to video games. without capcom's fighting game adaptation of the manga, part 3 (where this character originates) would never have gotten an official english translation. due to this, i believe jotaro can be considered a "video game character" as much as he is considered a "manga" and now "anime character".

jotaro is easily the most visible protagonist in jjba, appearing prominently across 4 of the 8 story arcs that make up the series. a former high school delinquent of the legendary joestar bloodline, jotaro would offer something completely unprecedented in a smash environment - the powers of his stand, star platinum, which possesses superhuman strength, speed and precision.

I could make him as the only 4th-party Assist Trophy, but I already have a Dragon Ball rep(s).

IIRC, Goku was going to be the only 4th party character on the roster. It would make sense that any 4th party assist trophy would be from his series.

Aside from rule shenanigans, having Jotaro would be arguably pretty fun.
