Pretend it's a combination of Pokemon and Magic. You choose your character you want to attack with and the target, you deal damage equal to your ATK to the target. There is no 'blocking'.
Some characters have effects that modify this slightly, but this is the basic idea.


@SuperFlash: We'd need to have pics based on sprites for everything in Crusade at that point... not sure if I will ever. The current pics are fine for now.

This may just be me, but shouldn't Metal Gear REX be a character? I mean, we have R.O.B, Chibi Robo, Pig King Statue and Ray MK III all as characters.

I originally had REX as a character... but unlike those others, it doesn't act on its own, it requires a driver. If it was a character, its effect would be something involving it attacking instead of one of your other characters.
I may move it over, but of course it will require removing another character... maybe Tamagon.

Ray MK III requires an operator too, so you may want to switch one of them over to the others side.

Did you make a Mallow Card already?

Never planned on Mallow... hm... so these are 2 things to think about. Guess we'll see who gets the boot in the end.


EDIT: Going to remove Lenneth for Mallow... she's not really a Nintendo character anyways. Not sure about REX. Probably Tamagon.

Everyone else is an extra rep of an already present series... so... any of these that get cut (And others already made possibly) will get replaced with reps from current series most likely, such as Zant or Dark Samus.

Croc would be a gem for the few fans of him playing this game.

Yeah, I removed Lenneth a while back... not sure if she did appear on a Nintendo console or not, actually. I can't remember for who, though... Could always put her back in over Tamagon if need be, though.

Anyway,those are only ideas that i had at the moment.And i'm quite surprised you don't know about ghost trick...It is a game made by capcom which involves a mysterious man called Sissel who doesn't knows anything about himself.That game has the biggest and most unpredictable story ever in video-game history.i'd highly recommend not to read any spoilers about it...also,you added Ragna,but you don't know who Jin is?Surprising.Anyway,keep up the good work,i'm supporting you guys all the way to the end.

Possibly... we'll see when we get there, but some of those can be used. Not all of them, though (Liquid Battle thing is MGS4, not on a Nintendo system... and Sky Sanctuary is more of a stage)

I'm not sure myself to be honest. I thought it was only planned to be part of Single Player similar to Break The Targets or Board The Platform. Or possibly added to VS Mode. But I think it would be a great addition if we can get it into Online Mode. Only the devs can answer that though

Seems kind of pointless if you can't play against other people... The question I was having is if we can take it a step further, maybe implement trading in addition to battling. Pretty sure we will be able to at least play against each other.

Final Battle with Liquid should be allowed in SSBCrusade.
Just look at Brawl : There are songs from MGS3 and MGS4.
EDIT : And you did put Cloud in there as a character card.And besides,Almost all final fantasy characters appear in a certain DS game...Kingdom Hearts Re-coded.Kinda.They are avatars you can use in that game.And,Cloud actually joins your party on Olympus Colosseum,so now i can see how he is allowed as SSBCrusade card.
