Palette Help

I brought this up in the bugs reports thread and I acknowledge that it's most likely my PC's fault, but it's really starting to become an eyesore...

In short, certain characters (most notably Wright, Ridley, Bowser Knuckles, Ness, Saki, Ice Climbers, and a few other characters I wish I cared more about) have a seriously glitched up pallete in-game.

Ugly Wright and Ness
Ugly Knuckles and Saki
Kinda Ugly Ridely and REALLY Ugly Knuckles (ignore the broken stage, this was taken before the patch)
My Ugly Mains, taken after the patch (note that Jigglypuff is not ugly at all)
I've tried resetting my PC, resetting the game, and even tried changing my PC's color scheme. Nothing worked...
I've also noticed that this only affects characters and not the projectiles they throw (so like, when Knuckles throws his boulder, it's ugly while he's holding it, but it reverts back to normal after he tosses it).
If anyone knows how to fix this, they shall receive my eternal gratitude.
Otherwise...well, at least the gameplay works.

Tested, the palettes work fine. It is a local problem for you specifically. Probably due to graphics drivers or DirectX being outdated.

Yeah, I kinda expected that. I'll get the newest DirectX later and see if that works (since it's not exactly my PC).
If it turns out to be the graphics drivers, then I'll be in that corner over there crying (mostly because looking at Ness hurts my eyes).
