layout is too crowded

idk if this is just me but whenever i come here im always very, very dismayed by how crushed together everything seems to be.
like, look at this random example i took from this board:

 like, there's no spaces in between the two posts. there's nothing separating the edit message from the rest of the post. The spacing seems too small to me and it's overall pretty annoying, especially considering how much is going on in a lot of these signatures.

idk if this is in the wrong area since i didnt bother to look through the site for a better website and i dont really care that much since i dont go here that often, but does anyone feel this way? it might just be my computer screen being dumb but idk

I think this is just a problem with people who lack signatures when they post one after the other

How about just a white line, like the one separating the post from the sig? And it can span the whole "darker" area.

It would be difficult, but one idea could be alternating the post colors by 2 different shades of gray.

What I think would be a good design is to have each comment boxed-in rather than having borders to separate them.

because ive been learning it since august and it helps for practice and vocab use

the first two weeks i'll be all over the place, from münchen to köln to baden-baden. for the last two weeks i'll be in berlin since u kno it's all new and stuff now, and plus there'll probably be both people speaking the berlin accent and hochdeutsch so i could get a feel for both, i'd think.

Yeah, have fun! At Köln I also recommend stopping at Aachen, which I think was about an hour and a half away. Small place, but packed with culture, if that's what gets ya goin'.
