So I hear people complaining quite a bit that the AI is buggy, but what happened to me just now, just, I cant even describe how I feel. I'm playing the game, and I'm using Marth against random level 10 CPU's. One of the matches I was played just blew my mind. It was against Tails, and I 3 stocked the CPU. Not only did I 3 stock the CPU though, no no no, I did it without taking ANY DAMAGE. But why? Because all the CPU did was fly in the air. Over, and over, and over, AND OVER. You know, that's just sad. I'm going to be honest, the AI murders this game. The AI is completely broken. It either shields to the point where I just want to smash my screen, or it does stupid s*** like this. Come on, this game has potential! Just take a note from Super Smash Flash 2. The AI is unbelievably good. The CPU's play like they're pros. Please, this takes so much away from your game, so try your best to fix it.

SSF2 AI has its own problems too. Just try fighting MetaKnight. XD

Making AI for every single character is a difficult task, there are bound to be some flops. Some of the characters I don't even think have AI yet. Remember, this is a Test demo. That's one of the things we need to work on.

If you want some better AI, I think Captain Falcon, Marth, and Duck Hunt Dog are tough ones.

You lost me when you said that SSF2's AI was pro.

And the developers are well aware of Crusade's AI issues and are definitely going to look into them for 0.9.

Ehh.. They aren't pro, they're just advanced (I couldn't think of a good word to describe how good they are). But I REAAAAAAAALYY do hope that the AI is fixed in 0.9. I'm having alot of fun right now playing as Marth, but the AI keeps acting stupid at times.

Yeah DHD is pretty good... but thanks for the reassurance. And BTW, the same thing keeps happening with Petey, except he puts up more of a fight. Also there are alot of spots you can stand on that causes the AI to do litterally nothing or be placed into an infinite loop until you break them out of it.

The likely reason for this difference between the fangames is because SSF2 actually has people working on the AI coding for each character. AI is a really low priority for us currently (especially because online allows people to play against each other rather than computers), but it will be worked on eventually.
