The Town of Moths

Yesterday was quite an interesting one. Thinking I could finally begin my retirement at the young, young age of 19, I was immediately confronted to become the mayor of the town of Moths as I walked off the train. Needless to say, since I had nothing better to do, I accepted.

Since I got into town quite late yesterday, I pitched a tent where I told Nook to build my home and slept.

Today has been fairly uneventful so far. I made some archeological discoveries, got some mail, sent some mail, and have already found a duplicate of an item.

In accordance with the town being named "Moths", I figured I should change the flag to match. A tree guys, really?

So I opted for something more... fitting.



Quite so, I think.

Afterwards, Isabelle asked if we could take a long walk on the beach. I told her I don't roll that way and she said that she could just opt for a seashell instead. I acquired a seashell, and she thanked me by giving me cherries, some non-naitive fruit that will certainly help me build a healthy bank account early on.

More will come as my day progresses. I should probably actually talk to my neighbors...

So, later on in the day I got off my butt and decided to formally meet my neighbors.

First off, here's Chow. He's a panda (or something) and seems to be a bit cranky most of the time.


This is Amelia, an eagle. Not much else, pretty mellow.


Here's Cranston... to be honest, he has this odd vibe around him, like he wants to be friends with everyone but he's too awkward for anyone to want to be friends with him.


This is Rosie. Apparently, she's a pretty popular villager, so if she wants to move maybe I could pawn her off for a couple million bells.


Lastly, here's Mitzi, another cat. Before I talked to her she was wearing something that looked ok.


And then she decided to spice things up and change both her own outfit and mine. Sadly, I wasn't too keen on the pink shirt or her new brown shirt. But as every man knows, you can't tell a woman they look bad, so I lied and said she looked alright.


Also, here's my current place of residence. Should be an actual house by tomorrow, as I paid off the down payment to Nook earlier.

So, a third cat is moving into my town tomorrow, and luckily she is arguably one of the most hideous villagers.
