Deoxys, triumph over your foes!

Deoxys.  You know him, I know him.  But the question is WHY should we have him. (ALSO, HE IS NOW ON THE REGULAR DLC POLL SO IF YOU VOTED FOR HIM BEFORE BE SURE TO REVOTE.)

For one thing, he has four different forms, each with a unique combat style and set of stats.  This could allow Deoxys to be the most versatile character ever if utilized as four separate transformations, and even if they are not, it would still allow Deoxys to have a wide blend of moves, giving him a certain uniqueness.

A second point is his aforementioned uniqueness, and by extension, popularity.  Deoxys has been called by many critics, producers, even regular fans like you and me one of the most unique pokemon there is, and that's saying something (if you want examples, say so and I will provide them). He has obtained this title due to his origins as a virus exposed to a laser beam (i.e. not a natural pokemon), his title as a DNA pokemon, and his four forms.

This special flavor of uniqueness made him quite popular, and to my knowledge he even stayed relevant during the sinnoh years, in part because he was a pokeball pokemon in brawl.  He was among the most popular hoenn pokemon and was likely THE MOST during the sinnoh years.

And that's another thing, he was in Brawl as a pokeball, a trophy, and I believe a sticker, too.  Having been in smash before, if only as a support item, shows that he could stand among other characters from the series.

I will post a moveset soon.  For now, please consider Deoxys as a choice to join the Crusade.

I could see it be possible actually. Most of the motions would be hovering like Mewtwo, and the attacks can all be the same and because they all have similar arms and legs they can just be edited.

Don't get me wrong, it's not an ideal character to sprite, but I can see it being possible.
