So About the apex demo..

Yeah I did give it to felipe because I recognized his hard work with most of the demos being a stage coder. I told him not to leak it and I don't think nothing happened yet. To me it seemed like he wanted to play the so I said "why not" but he did make a shit ton of content for the game.. It's kinda hard to tell who's being the heartless dicks here. If you didn't trust him you could've made a tech demo for .9 with the apex build with a few characters so people could get used to the game(you could've gave that or whatever). But honestly I thought he did deserve it and I don't feel guilty for my actions because I thought they were right you can demote me or whatever Idc personally that won't stop me from making more crusade related things like guides and stuff.

I'm not going to apologize because I don't need to. I really hope you guys don't do this to anyone else. Anyways I guess I might as well get going. EVERYONE is gonna hate me now since I committed the "ultimate crime" lol so I guess I'll leave the forum too. Bye everyone who matters(I think y'all know who you are) catch me on yt or fb if you need me I guess.

What you missed was Felipe forcing his opinion on everything and eventually being kicked from the development team (after being given multiple chances to redeem himself) and what you're coming back to is the rest of the team having to replace basically everything he did.

Nobody has any right to spread and create downloads except for Jaklub. It doesn't matter that Felipe used to be a dev.

Dude, just come back. Technically since it was leaked a few days ago it's not the end of the world that you shared it with one person, and at least that one person was someone we already know. Det is right though, but in any case there are others who have done way worse. I'm also pretty sure most people here like you (at least I do) and you're virtually one step down from being our public representative (aside from Giga and PH4 who run fb and youtube, etc.), so you're likely to be forgiven quite easily by everyone here.

Just because it was leaked doesn't mean it can be spread around willy-nilly. The leak was taken down already.

I don't see this as a valid reason to leave the community forever or to think we hate you. I for one do not. However, this is a blatant infraction with the Balancing Team and your reasons, good or bad, will not exempt you from rules. I'm not even sure I agree with your reasons in the first place, but that's another matter.

So I decided to come back for a little while to clear up somethings.

1. I'm not leaving the community, I'm leaving the forums. Pretty much what mist said summed it up perfectly. Imo a person should get recognized for their work ethics first, not their personality/characteristics. Just image if I did the same things fleep did would I get recognized for any of the hard work I've done so far? Yeah I would.... but would it come first? No.

2. About the public rep. thing... I'm pretty sure I am. I help a ton of people on how to play online and I even built a community around that with my networks. I think I'm one of the few people that post SSBC vids and they get a crazy amount of views. Some more than other of course but you catch my dift right? those very same vids pull more and more people into this forum or the community. I've done more work than what you think but most of that is behind the scenes.

3. Speaking of community.. I really feel like this place fell apart when I wasn't active. I'm not sure what the hell happened but it's definitely not what it used to be. All the activity is gone.. the people I respect the most(Jak, giga, mist, light, merc, PH4, and a few others) keep me around here. Coming here is like a chore to me now rather than being fun. Plus you have people stressed out(like blue) because of all the inactivity within the teams themselves(spriting team, lolgraphics team). It creates an awkward mood imo but maybe it's just me.

It's not like I won't be around.. like I said you always have Youtube and facebook to contact me if you like. I hope that cleared some stuff up although I know I can be a bit confusing most of the time lol. Til next time folks

It didn't fall apart while you were away. A lot of crap happened around and because of Apex, and we're trying to pick up the pieces and sort everything out still.
As far as I can tell, there was just an explosion of "OH MY GOD HAVE TO GET ALL THIS DONE" in the weeks before Apex, and that explosion was sucking power from the months to follow. More got done in the two months leading up to Apex than will ever happen in a given two-month span ever again.

The issue with the Graphics Team is that graphics are handled differently now. Character art was done by Giga (with a few being colored by me), menu stuff is Jak, stock icons were done by (I think) SP and Giga, series icons were done by Blue... there's not really graphics to be done. The people on the graphics team never really did anything in the first place aside from forum graphics which was basically all Plas and Fleep anyways.

The community in general is becoming more work-focused as we drive on towards 0.9's release, which is what happened before 0.8, and 0.8.4, and Apex. After 0.9 is released it'll probably be more like you remember it, but you missed the transition as people started rushing to get as much squeezed into the Apex demo as possible.

Although if you feel like coming to these forums is a chore now, then by all means you should leave for a while. Blue got tired of spriting, now he's taking a break; no reason you shouldn't do the same.

I seen most for the apex demo junk and IIRC about a handful of people were working on it. That's my point. No one else is helping around here even though they're suppose to. But then again it was kinda like that when .8.3 was released. .8 had a bigger production team than .9(apex) so alot of that "stress" wasn't really there. I doubt it would return to how it was because most people quit or leave before it gets to that point.

Dry I'm not taking a break... I'm leaving for good. I even told a select few that I was planning on quitting like a month ago. I just don't want to be here anymore.
