Alright let's face it! Boy and blob are kind of losing the race for dlc. So here's the back story to try and improve people perspective of the Duo and the game!

WayForward's director Sean Velasco, a fan of the original NES title, felt the series was very good and had potential to go beyond what it was. In the original it was mixed from being bad to just great. After 2 failed attempts to bring the series to Nintendo's other handhelds over the years, a re-imagining of Trouble on Blobolonia, the original game on the Nes was made. The new game showed better visual and even brought new players to the series. It also help brought back the games reputation and had great reviews after it's release in 2009. The developers wanted to try to make the original games spirit and creating something for this generation of gamers in this new game. Some changes made to the gameplay include frequent save checkpoints and unlimited jellybeans. the team also wanted to make a more different art style. They decided to make the boy "much younger and rounder" than his NES counterpart, as was the idea of making the blob "a more faithful companion (similar to) a dog."With the new, younger design for the boy and the blob, the team "wanted them to have (a) mutual need for each other... One can't progress without the other." Just like olimar and the pikmins. the team said that its simplicity allowed them to create a "very heartwarming...and friendly game" and to really highlight a "major component of the game, which is the friendship between the boy and blob."

Their game play is very simple and easy to grasp. The Boy progress through a variety of levels with various obstacles to get to the end of the level and move on to the next. The boy feeds the blob jelly beans in order to transform it into one of fifteen different objects that can be used to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.By calling for Blob, it will revert out of its transformation and follow the boy. Examples are like A ladder for climbing; an anvil for dropping on enemies' heads; a cannon for shooting the boy to otherwise unattainable areas; a spaceship for flying around stages; a crank for lifting platforms and obstructions; a bouncy ball for floating across waters; a trampoline for springing into the air; and even a hole so that the boy can fall through platforms to walkways below, Ext. I thought that we can use the boy to walk around the stage and blob as an attack method for the duo.

A List of Blob Jelly bean Moves: http://www.ign.com/faqs/2009/a-boy-and-his-blob-14326535-boss-and-basics-faq-1037700

or

1. Balloon.

This power is always present so you essentially only have seven other powers
(not eight). It should be noted that if you use the "Call Blob" three times
quickly, the blob turns into a balloon to regroup with the boy for free -- just
like when Groundskeeper Willy kills children.

[] Passes through all barriers.
[] Flies anywhere.
[] Does not affect the environment or entities.

2. Hole.

This creates a hole that lets the boy, small enemies, and rocks fall through
thin platforms. Use it to dump enemies into pits or to basically "go down".
Note that falling into water is death for enemies and the boy.

[] Lets objects and entities fall through thin platforms.
[] Does nothing for thick platforms.

3. Ladder.

This creates a ladder allowing the boy to go up and through any platform
(except the manhole platforms and obstructive ceilings). Since the ladder is on
the "side" of an otherwise 2D world, the thickness of a platform won't matter;
if the ladder can extend from where the jellybean is dropped to the top of the
platform, the boy can climb through.

[] Goes through thin and thick platforms unless they are obstructions.
[] May hang down from sloped surfaces.

4. Trampoline.

A tra-bamp-boline. When the boy jumps on it, his jumping height is increased.
By repeatedly timing his jumps as he lands on the trampoline, he can increase
the height of the jump to terminal levels. Falling on a trampoline (use Blob
sight on D-PAD Right to locate the trampoline) will not kill the boy (any
height). To reduce the height of the jump, stop timing the jumps, press DOWN on
the joystick, and wait a minute or so.

[] Bounces small enemies, the boy, and stones to higher levels.
[] Boy may land safely on trampoline from terminal heights.
[] May be set in spiked pits.

5. Parachute

A parachute. After the blob transforms, touch the sheet to store it. Pressing
jump in mid-air will make the chute deploy and (more importantly) collapse
alternately. Switch between gliding and falling to get by some areas where the
boy is being shot at while navigating mined areas. The joystick can be used to
adjust the gliding rate as well (up and down) but nothing beats BASE jumping
and falling in later areas.

[] Pressing JUMP a second time activates chute.
[] Pressing JUMP when chute is deployed stows chute for free fall.
[] Chute may be deployed during free fall before velocity is terminal.

6. Anvil

This creates a functional equivalent to the stones you've been moving since
stage 1-1. Unlike the stones, the anvil will not break however, enemies (like
the bull) will pass over it instead of ramming against it. It otherwise
functions like the stone against smaller enemies and can be used to weigh down
switches.

[] Can weigh down switches and crush certain enemies.
[] Can destroy certain blocks.
[] Acts as a platform on some enemies (pig and bear).

7. Bowling Ball

This is lighter than the anvil but can be rolled through small tunnels. It
functions as a wall against blobs and some smaller enemies, but the larger bull
enemy will bulldoze this object into the boy.

[] Fits through narrow tunnels.
[] Can destroy certain small enemies.
[] May be swallowed by some enemies.

8. Bouncer

This is a bouncing ball (similar to the one Phoebe used in Friends on her 31st
brithday). Holding jump will automatically bounce the boy and blob-bouncer
higher. Despite the constant dribbling, the bouncer is fully controllable, so
inch towards the edge of ledges before jumping. The bouncer can kill small
enemies and lets the boy cross water without drowning like a retarded cripple
in the local wading pool but it will not protect against the spiked pits
(unlike the bubble).

[] Can board bouncer while it floats on water.
[] Floats with current (if present).
[] May be used to crush small enemies but not medium, large, or explosive ones.
[] Boy is considered weightless while encased in the bubble and won't use switches.

9. Auto Jack

A car jack that lifts stones and enemies. It will "crush" objects so lifted
when it connects with the stage's ceiling (if any). The top of the jack is a
platform and cranking it up once from its lowest setting allows the boy to go a
little higher (requires a running jump). Press the recall button once or move
away when using the jack to stop using it. The boy must approach the jack to
use it.

[] Lifts objects and entities; entities sandwiched to ceiling will die.
[] Can be used to hold ceiling switches in place.
[] Can be raised one level and used as a platform.

10. Bubble

A protective environmental bubble. Waterproof and enemy proof, the bubble is
burst only by "heavy" sharp objects like stalagtites (but not pit spikes).
Pressing jump while in the bubble "boosts" the bubble boy to race up ramps, etc.

[] Immune to most enemies, water, explosives, and spike pits (not stalagmites).
[] Can destroy some enemies (clone, mines, gremlins, pigs, etc.).

11. Rocket

The ultimate mode of travel. Allows the boy full flight capabilities. Simply
aim the stick in the direction you want to go. Jump speeds up the rocket and
allows it to destroy walls the cannon can. Note though, if the boy is hung up
on an adjacent block, the rocket will stall and the blob reverts form. Use
D-PAD Left to swap the side the rocket is aiming at before launching it.

[] May fly in any open space.
[] Recalling blob in flight imparts momentum to boy.
[] D-PAD Left swaps launch direction.

12. Cannon

This shoots the boy and the pig-enemy out as a cannonball. The boy-cannonball
can destroy blobs, but don't bother trying it with mines, etc. The blob cannon
automatically shoots the pig-enemy at targets (enemies or breakable walls). You
can aim the cannon (boy-cannonball only) by tilting the stick. The cannon --
when it's not loaded -- can switch sides when you press D-PAD Left.

[] May be aimed 90 degrees left/right and up.
[] Automatically fires pig cannonballs.
[] When boy cannonball is used, he can destroy blocks and some enemies (blob,
sloth).
[] D-PAD Left swaps launch direction.

13. Shield

Equivalent of a metal shield. Used to block shots from enemies and it can
detonate mines without killing the boy. The boy can jump while holding (but not
using) the shield. Press the jellybean button to hold the shield up (the boy
cannot move during that time).

[] Makes boy immune to explosives and shots.
[] Cannot move when deployed.

14. Simulacrum

Creates a friendly clone of the boy where the jellybean lands. Like the evil
versions of the clone you faced earlier, the blob-clone will mimic the boy's
actions but won't kill him. Used to decoy mines, step on switches, or to help
the boy push large blocks that requires two people. Instead of Sheva, Chris
"Six Pockets" Redfield should've been fighting Wesker with a goddamned space
blob, a bag of jellybeans, and an infinite magnum.

[] Can weigh down switches.
[] Decoys enemies; causes mines and bears to be provoked.
[] Mimics boy's actions exactly.

We can use these for many type of moves for blob and all boy has to do is to use these moves to his advantage While in Battle.

So please vote for Boy and Blob.
