Excuse me, but could you kindly take this discussion elsewhere? This is my point that no one will pay attention to my threads; I really don't get why my thoughts are being overtaken by some random conversation. I made this thread to see what your opinion is on the topic. If you don't like that, then I am sorry but I have a voice that I am trying to get noticed here, but I can't do that so effortlessly when I have people going off topic here. I really feel uncomfortable about being on forums, but I am trying to get better at posting. Please give me some help, advice or something because I don't want to come off as being forceful or rude. I really want to help out here, but I need help from you guys to understand what I could do to improve my posts a bit.

I made this thread to get advice and insight as to what I can do to improve my posts so I don't come off as rude or disrespectful. I tend to a bit weird by how I post; I get a bit carried away and then my emotion comes out because I have a hard time expressing my emotion on any other medium besides writing and typing. I am not trying to come off as rude here, I just think that ino one really understands how I work so to speak. I am just trying to give people an idea of who I am and how I work.

i'm being serious. this is a sorry excuse for a forum and you'd be better off expressing your opinions on somewhere with structure, a knowledgeable userbase and half-decent posting standards. you will receive real feedback and worthwhile criticism elsewhere.

Ok I've joined this little rave a bit late, but here's my input:

First of all, the fact that you are taking care to make sure you are not being rude or disrespectful is a great thing itself. A lot of people couldn't care less.

As for getting emotional, I guess the only thing I can suggest is to try your hardest not to. To be perfectly honest, I didn't actually see any particularly intense emotion from you other than your first post in that DLC thread (which I just read to get a picture of the whole situation).

I think you're more stable and sensible than you think you are, and if you feel yourself getting red-faced when typing, just try to make it a habit to take deep breaths, get some water, or something similar.

Don't worry about people disapproving of you. The day someone has no flaws is the day every African orphan gets a good education. We all have flaws, every single one of us. That doesn't mean anything in the long run, because learning to work together despite the differences is how society started in the first place.

You're lucky being here, because this forum is surprisingly mature compared to most others. We all have a billion reasons to hate each other, but we still get along. Personally, "hate" is not a thing that I do. If they're a good person, I obviously like them as they are. If they're a bad person, I try to help them become a good person.

No part of that has "hate" in it. And whether you're a good or bad person, that's not for me to judge, but either way I won't hate you. If you're bad, I'll help you. And I hope the rest of the forum will as well.

You might notice I have some weird paragraphing here. Well, that's because a friend on this forum once pointed out that it's difficult to read the huge tsunami of text that usually makes up my posts. So I try to split up what I say into small paragraphs. I don't know whether writing large blocks of text makes me a bad person, I don't care. All I know is that I no longer do it, which is an improvement. Does anyone here "hate" me? This question is going to bite my ass.

Finally, don't look back on this thread in seven years and think "Oh god I was such an idiot back then, people must still hold that against me". If there's one thing that I think plagues us awkward teenagers more than anything else, it's the feeling that something embarrassing you do in the past will be held against you forever. Trust me, no one remembers. All of us on this forum have done cringe-worthy things that everyone else mocked and threw shit at; I would bring up some hilarious examples if I were a prick. So if you come back and read this some time in the future, don't give yourself the idea that you "ruined your reputation" by making a fool of yourself. Everyone makes fools of themselves.
