| This poll's purpose is basically any other DLC poll, however this one decides which character gets into the main DLC poll OR if Shadow Lady should be an alt for Chun-Li, or even both. So far I have almost two character's moveset done. Guile - Spoiler:
Guile is a major character in the Street Fighter series. He's well known for his Sonic Boom, and he's also a top-tier character with Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, M. Bison and Akuma. http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/Guile Guile is a popular character for his memetic theme and his defensive-offensive mix gameplay. Here's a moveset to get you acquainted with Guile. - Spoiler:
Alt: Marine Guile; Combination of http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100421132819/streetfighter/images/d/d8/Ntro2.gif http://elmundotech.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/guile_bmp_jpgcopy.jpg http://elmundotech.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/guile_001_bmp_jpgcopy.jpg
Army Guile (Default): Army Guile is a quick, competitive character based on his gameplay in the Street Fighter games. His moves are quite similar to Ryu and Chun-Li's in that they have an EX form and a normal form. Let's go over his specials and leave the gritty stuff to the devs.
Special: Sonic Hurricane Normally a souped-up Sonic Boom special, in Crusade, Guile charges up a sonic boom, then unleashes it. The difference is that it stays on his arms and swirls around in place. The EX version has more startup lag but also pulls people in like Young Link's spin attack in Melee.
Side Special: Sonic Boom The sonic boom is a simple move like the Hadouken and the Kikouken. Guile walks back a few steps, referencing the Street Fighter games in which you must hold down backwards to 'charge' it, then unleashes a swirling disc of energy. The EX Sonic Boom is faster and has multiple hits, but has more startup lag.
Upward Special: Flash Kick Guile does a somersault with his leg extended, which causes a crescent of burning white energy to appear. Guile can control the direction he somersaults with the Control Stick. The EX version does two somersaults, meaning two crescents that fly in opposite directions.
Downward Special: Spin-Back Knuckle Guile spins around and extends his arm once he's finished the 360. He can move around left and right during the spinning time, but it's not very long. The EX version of this move has him do a 720, which takes longer, but means he can move around longer while spinning and it hits that much harder.
Final Smash 1: Sonic Typhoon Based on Street Fighter EX, Guile quickly charges up a Sonic Boom and releases it as a tornado that sucks opponents in and throws them back out and the end. Does more knockback than it does damage.
Final Smash 2: Flash Explosion One of his powerful attacks in Super Street Fighter IV, Guile pulls off three consecutive Flash Kicks and finishes with a double Sonic hurricane performed by Guile and his buddy Charlie.
Marine Guile (Alt): Marine Guile is a slow but powerful character based on his appearances in the media and a game or two. His moves are closer to Snake and Mach Rider than they are Ryu or Chun-Li, but he retains the same basic style.
Special: Sonic Boom His same Sonic Boom from his Army moveset, transfered over to his Normal Special.
Side Special: Ryuu Kobushi no Dangan (roughly Bullet of the Dragon's Fist) Guile pulls out a pistol from his belt and charges it. If charged long enough, Guile will release a Sonic Boom with the bullet to increase the power. The EX version has the same changes of the EX Hadouken.
Upward Special: Skydive Jetpack Guile uses the jetpack on his back to go upwards and headbutt anything in his way. If he hits something solid like a wall, then the special will automatically end and Guile will go freefall. The EX version goes faster, and Guile throws a grenade upwards.
Downward Special: Step Kick Guile walks forward and delivers a straight kick forward. The kick is somewhat delayed due to his need to walk forward, but in return it gives this move plenty of range. This is best used as a surprise or disruptive attack. It is also a safe move, because if it is blocked, the user will be sent backwards, avoiding any counter-attack. In EX move, Guile follows it up with a very short-ranged blast from a grenade.
Final Smash 1: Total Wipeout In this move, Guile pulls out a net launcher that traps the opponent in a net, allowing him to do consecutive punches that end with a grenade toss followed by a Sonic Boom that knocks the opponent away.
Final Smash 2: Sneak Attack Guile taunts the opponent by flexing and saying "Come on, Rookie!" In this time while the opponent is distracted, Charlie jumps in and starts assaulting the opponent. Guile finishes the attack by pulling out a rocket launcher and blasting the opponent away.
Both of Guile's movesets are highly versatile and dangerous; if you want to let your opponent know that you aren't to be messed with when it comes to smash, just pick Guile and give them a sound whooping.
Shadow Lady (Alt. Character) - Spoiler:
Shadow Lady is Chun-Li's "evil" form, like Evil Ryu, Violent Ken, Shadow (Charlie), Dark Sakura, and Shin Akuma. She might seem like a palette swap at first, but once you get to playing as her, she becomes a whole new character. - Spoiler:
Alt: Chun-Li
Special: Drill Fist Chun-Li starts to fire off a Kikouken....and fires a drill bit instead! It hits multiple times and pierces opponents like Samus's Plasma Beam in the 2D Metroid games. The EX Version travels faster and hits harder.
Side Special: Launcher Bow Chun-Li bows forward out of respect; Missiles fire from her back and launch forward in front of her. Does high knockback but low damage.
Upward Special: Hishoki (roughly Ki of Silencing Elegance) Shadow Lady performs Chun-Li's normal upward special, then finishes it wit her normal downward special. Can be very punishing to both the user and the victim; great for suicide maneuvers that take the opponent down too.
Downward Special: Energy Field Chun-Li is enveloped in electricity. This punishes direct attackers, but isn't really a problem for projectile users. First frame is super-armor and also reflects projectiles on the first frame.
Final Smash 1: Kaminari Ashi (roughly Devil's Lightning Legs) Everyone knows Chun-Lis fast kicks; Shadow Lady has them too. Unlike Chun-Li, Shadow Lady finishes with her Hishoki instead of an upward kick; in exchange, she doesn't use the Lightning Legs for as long.
Final Smash 2: Kage Girochin (roughly Shadow Guillotine) Chun-Li jumps backwards into the air and dashes forward. If and when she hits someone, the screen goes black. A moment later, Chun-li and her victim appear, and the player watches Chun-Li kick the victim one single time. Meta Knight's slash effect is shown when she does. Basically a clone of Meta Knight's final.

| You should end a "none" option, since there are many that feel that Ryu & Chun Li alone is more than enough for Street Fighter, let alone Capcom.
I vote None

We have 2 Ryu's and 1 Chun-Li. Don't mistake alternate Final Smashes for alternate characters. Also voting none. The series is pretty solidly repped already, the only addition I'd support is Chun's alternate as a counterpart to Evil Ryu. |

| Eh, not too big on Shadow Lady. That more represents Marvel vs. Capcom than it does Street Fighter, and to be perfectly frank, it is completely Nintendo irrelevant. |

| A small appearance as a card for some crossover card game is hardly notable nor should it really count. |

| She can be played on a DS game, that is Nintendo relevance no matter how you look at it. |

| Either way, she hardly represents the series the original character comes from, unlike Ryu's alt. Being what, a bonus character in two games? That being said, Chun does not need an alt. We have enough SF characters as is, and we don't need another one that isn't even part of the series. |

| Appeared in SF4 as an alternate outfit for Chun-Li, that's her own series. Although i think that would be her only appearance without a unique moveset, which is weird because it's her series game. |

| OK, here's a suggestion for you.
Why not have an option to vote for Shadow Lady as an alt for Chun-Li.
Now before you guys complain that she doesn't need that alt, I'd like to point out Weegee and Evil Ryu (even though Weegee is getting removed). Shadow Lady is a bit of a WTF character in that she fires drills from her hands on one attack and I seem to remember missiles coming out of her backside as well.
She's been in four games. MvC, UMvC3, SvCCF, and SFIV, and the Street Fighter II Victory anime. This is as many as Evil Ryu alone, or at least close to it. In all these games, having Shadow Lady meant having Street (Fighter) Cred and being skilled with her is even more epic. She's not just a palette swap; she's a badass. Plus, Detta and the other devs have specifically mentioned something along the lines of "Alts don't take up roster space so we can have a lot of them within reason." or at least something like that. Either way, she doesn't take up another slot and this way, you guys who don't want another SF rep can be happy, and those who want another SF rep can be happy.
Opinions on this idea? |

Agreed, but idk what you're talking about with Weegee. Since when is he getting removed?

The first half of this paragraph is entirely true. Shadow Lady would actually be a really great fanfare

| That's true about the devs but hey, we can still vote on it so they know we want her.
Yeah, the other day I asked Detta if there's a way to remove Weegee and he said that Weegee will either be removed or become a secret easter egg.
I didn't word that well. Basically, we can't go overboard with alts because that would mess up the size of the game, but alts are much more possible then someone saying "Replace Cless with Lloyd" or something like that.
Either way, I'd be perfectly happy with having Shadow Lady as an alt instead of a whole seperate character. (Even though I want Guile really bad) It would satisfy people saying that Street Fighter doesn't need yet another rep, and it would satisfy people who love alts (I'm looking at you, Catlover) or want another rep. |

Funny. I've been looking for pictures of all of Chun-Li's colors and outfits for all three versions of the game, and have yet to see Shadow Lady. |

| That's why I like her though. She's a simple palette swap, but she's WAAAAAAAAAY tougher than a simple palette swap. She's already got sprites too, so all it would take is making her a CSS portrait/bust, and then coding her. Det and Jak can code characters in like a day.
So how about we get Shadow Lady in Crusade, huh guys? |
