Fail to see the argument, just saying that from the POV of a Smash player, the game sucks.

A Smash player who played PASBR for about 10 minutes. Nobody gets to a competitive level in any fighting game in 10 minutes. I'm sure once people start playing it strategies will be made just like every fighting game and it will be just as good.

I fail to see how fleep's post is considered an argument in general when he was just stating a friend's opinion who tested the game :/

Such an abrupt confirmation, leads me to belive that the Gamescom reveals will be Spike and Dante.

Shame, I could have bet my life on Raiden and Sackboy being the revealed characters.

Nevermind, the revealed was Ratchet, Dante, Sackboy and Spike, so I got one right.

Obviously they'll use new Dante, they are done with old Dante other than Project X Zone which was announced before DMC I think.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with new Dante IMO, there's always alt costumes too.

Well they showed that his Super is old Dante. Instead he should have been a character alongside Young Dante. Dante is much, much, MUCH more deserving of this double representation than Cole -_-. It would work too, their movesets wouldn't even be very similar beyond the sword and pistol stuff.

I think that's meant to be him embracing his demon side, forgive me if I'm wrong but I think DMC is a prequel, with Devil May Cry taking place when Dante has control over that side, keeping him in that form.

If you look closely, his robe and hair colour changes, but his face and hairstyle stay the same.

I notice all PASBR reveals had something to do with the event they are at. Heihachi was revealed at EVO, a big fighting tournament, Cole was revealed at ComiCon, Infamous being heavily comic book influenced, and Sackboy was revealed at Gamescom, the biggest European convention of the year, LittleBigPlanet is British.

Now it's PAX, while it may not have any particular clues to any particular character (Except if Tycho suddenly appears), the date itself may be a clue. The reveal will be on August 31st, which is the 16th birthday of Crash Bandicoot.

For those hoping for Crash, this will be the best chance we'll get for a reveal.

I'm quite glad they strayed away from making Evil Cole a clone, I also love the little cameo for his Level 3 Super. Any die-hard inFAMOUS fans will love it.

Nice. I wonder if I can use Evil Cole as an example whenever I decide to bring up Dark Pit as a potential character without necessarily being a clone in the same vein...

That is always how I've wanted Dark Pit, I always figured Pit would be the Pit from Brawl, and Pittoo would be what Pit would have played like if Uprising came first.

I can't find a video, but you got a second of it on the Evil Cole video. It's a mix of Uncharted and Bioshock Infinite, and come with the guest stars Songbird and the Vox Populi.

Seeing as they both have big anniversaries looming over PAX, I'm guessing/hoping it will be Cloud and Crash. It seems like they'd want to keep those two so tightly under wraps.

Thanks for the post, I missed him.

He looks so awesome, his simple yet fast playstyle looks great to use.

I'm amazed that all of the characters so far have managed to have such a unique playstyle, with no character really playing like any other.

Huh. Looking at this, we might be able to differenciate Gray Fox and Cyborg Raiden after all.

They would have different attacks, but at the end of the day they are both swordfighting, agile, Cyborg Ninja's from the same series. Raiden does some swordplay with his feet, but that's about it.

I still want Ocelot for DLC though.

Uh, Raiden also does swordplay with his mouth and most importantly, can attack with bolts of lightning as seen in MGS4 and sometimes discharges lightning as he moves. The lightning is probably the most differentiating feature from Gray Fox

Well, we all saw that coming though. But at least we got all of the leaked ones out of our way. I kinda get the feeling these won't be the last ones. The actual character reveal trailers is not here yet though.

So happy to finally see Nariko, big Heavenly Blade fan here. I'm not too keen on her pallette though.

So, all the leaked characters have now been confirmed. Looks like if there's any more to be revealed they genuinely will be surprising. I hope they do what SSBB did though, and leave a chunk of characters unrevealed until the game is actually out, to let players discover them for ourselves.

Ganon: Not yet. We still have Ryu Hayabusa, Jin and Kazuya.

Yeah, them too, but I like to belive that is a lie. I mean three Tekken characters is insane, two is understandable, but three... There are plenty of more deserving roster slots. Also, what did Plas do?


Now we know 20, I'm surprised at just how many more decent choices there are for secret characters and DLC. I mean, here's the ones I can think of.

Cloud, Chimera, Lara Croft, Crash, Wander, Connor Kenway, Emmett Graves, Spyro, Raziel, Mac, Croc, Tag, Ethan Mars, Kat & Dusty, Joel, Jodie Holmes, Ryu Hayabusa, Scorpion, Lightning and Sora

These characters would double the roster, so they aren't going to run out of ideas any time soon.

And I like to believe that Wreck-It Ralph and Danica Patrick are not in the upcoming sequel to Sega All-Stars Racing, but I cannot deny what has been shown.
