HELP! I need somebody! HELP! Not just anybody! (images on posts not showing up for me)

Obvious Beatles reference aside, I really do need help.

Ever since I've browsed the forum on my new laptop that I got last August, I barely been able to see any picture that somebody posts on their reply, which includes many of the gifs that are on the spriting board. It doesn't seem that anybody else has this issue, since I've never seen anybody here complain about this issue, so it's just me, but still, this is really annoying. Nothing's more annoying than seeing a string of responses that are simply blank, but you know there are images in those blank responses.

I've tried researching on this problem, but I didn't see anything useful to help solve the problem, other than this other guy who had the same problem on his forumotion forum. He was able to solve this problem by typing in some code into the CSS, or forum code, and from there on out, he reported being able to see images on his forum. I wanted to try this out, but my plan was immediately terminated when I found out I probably can't access the CSS, so now I'm back to square one, and here I am asking you guys for help.

I really hope you guys can help me out with this cursed glitch that I've been experiencing for forever now. Anyways, I'll be checking back on my topic later, and if you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem, please share them; I would love to hear them.

Being patient doesn't help, nor does refreshing the page.

Interestingly enough, though, I am able to see images and gifs in the signatures of users, but other than that and user avatars, images won't appear for me.
