| Another character poll from a fighting franchise. Choose your favorite character! If you don't know the game, it is a fighter in which you play as Zoanthropes, who are human at first but can change at will into a personified animal. Like a werewolf who can change at will, except each character has their own unique animal. Their human fighting styles reflect the animal they can become. Other VotesNone The CandidatesYugo the Wolf: Series protagonist, has appeared in every game. He is a Wolf Zoanthrope. A very well rounded character. Nagi the Spurious: Appeared in the latest game as the new main protagonist, and was advertised quite heavily. Potentially will continue as the new protagonist, though that is speculation. She is very well rounded, with good reach on her sword arm. Uriko the Cat (aka Uriko the Half-Beast): Main antagonist of the first game, then dumbed down to become playable in the second game. Has appeared playable in every game since. Extremely fast combo character. Busuzima the Chameleon: Recurring antagonist since BR2. Very unorthodox fighting style that usually involves twisting his body in strange ways, avoiding hits and countering. Xion the Unborn: Appeared from BR3 onwards. First as an antagonist, then in attonement, and finally an antagonist again. If you're interested in the actual story for that, check his page: http://bloodyroar.wikia.com/wiki/Xion_the_Unborn Uses his long limbs to his advantage during combos, especially in unborn form with his arm blades. Average speed character with good combos and reach. If you vote other, specify your character choice or it will not count.

| I'd pick Yugo, myself, mostly because he's pretty much the Ryu of the series, and pretty much the character people actually remember from Bloody Roar.
Never liked the way Xion looked, I think it was around when they made his design when they started running out of ideas. I mean, there's so many animals to pick from, and they come up with 'armored bugman thing'? |

| For me, it's between Nagi and Xion. Both have story importance, and both are significantly cooler than the other candidates here. Though Yugo is the clear series protagonist, that may or may not be at an end. I'm just not a fan of him as a character, personally. Though the Werewolf thing is pretty cool. |

I guess Xion could work, but I'd prefer to avoid Nagi completely myself. Mostly because she was in a game so bad it pretty much killed any hope of a sequel for the series, which... in my opinion, wouldn't be anywhere near a fair representation for the series.. I'm kind of a big fan of the first couple of games, so that's why I'm a little against anybody from beyond those showing up. I guess we'll just need to see how the vote goes. |

| Ah, I can't remember exactly which i started on ( i think it was 2) but i know i wasn't a serious fan until Primal Fury, I loved that game. I really enjoyed 4 as well, I don't see why it was bad. As far as review scores go, the game falls right in the middle of the rest of the series |

| There was one character in Primal Fury that could change into a Penguin and a Pheonix, and another who was like a ninja that turns unto a mole or something. I'd vote for one of those, can't decide right now though. |

| The penguin/pheonix was Cronos (main antogonist) and the ninja mole was Bakuryu, or there was the iron mole though i forgot his name |

| Question, if this gets anywhere: How is the Beast transformation going to work? Bloody Roar already has super moves, so that's obviously where the Final Smash would go, but in the game, you have to fill a meter before you can actually transform.
I suppose you could just have them stay in Beast form all the time, they'd probably be more interesting that way. |

| Dspecial transform. Problem solved.
Also I'll vote for Cronos for now, he's just so badass. |

I suppose you could just have them stay in Beast form all the time, they'd probably be more interesting that way. I will work out a nice gimmick if this gets anywhere in the DLC system, but i definitely want the character to be able to transform back and forth, transforming was a part of combos iirc and definitely a HUGE part of the fights. The beast form would be better than human of course, so i'm thinking like the game, a meter fills up for beast form, though not a visible meter to the players. When beast form is ready, there would be a visual indicator of some kind, like an aura around the character's hands or body. Then, something like Dspecial activates it and you stay in beast form for a certain amount of time. You would be able to transform on average 2-3 times per stock, could be more or less in cases of getting gimped or surviving really long. The human form character wouldn't be as good in general as other characters, while the beast form would be better than other characters. Hyper mode wouldn't be used, and the character's super would be their final smash. |
