| Okay, if you've come this far then you obviously know what this is here to discuss, we should still use spoiler tags though just to be sure. - Spoiler:
Oswin, how on Skaro is she going to be a companion now?!? Not only is she a Dalek, she's a dead Dalek. It sounds impossible, but I have an idea (I'm a DW nut, so this may get confusing).
As Morgan Grimes from Chuck once said "First rule of movies, make sure you see the corpse", if you don't then the character isn't dead. You never see Oswin die and you never see her dead. I reckon that in the period of time that the Doctor escapes the Asylum, a future Doctor saves Oswin, who then gets equipped with a Time Lord grade Chameleon Circuit that lets her appear Human for the travels. In other words, the Doctor will actually have a Dalek for a companion.
Any other thoughts on how she makes it, and if she doesn't how she returns?

| Last Amy Pond episode tomorrow!
I'm calling it now, the Angels send her and Rory back in time, and she ends with her finally meeting the Doctor again on her death bed, even though to the Doctor it has only been about half an hour.
It would make sense. To my knowledge the Angels can't send people back to outlive the time they were sent away by much.
If I am right, it will beat Donna as saddest companion leave of DW history. |

| I think the saddest thing for Donna was that she had grown so much, and to see that all be reversed in the space of one series was horrifying to watch. Even from a production point, there was no need for her to be erased. Honestly, what happened with Donna was worse than a death IMO.
Maybe I phrased it wrong, not saddest, but most emotional. Especially after The Power of Three.
FUN FACT: After the wrap-up party for the final Pond episode, all the crew ended up back at John Barrowman's place. The most dangerous place to be when drunk. |
