| I think Pokemon and Mario should have the same number of characters (most likely 5 and 5) since they are the Big 2 series. Having Zelda with 5 and Pokemon with 4 is kinda buggy to me. |

Because he is a popular Pokemon, he is a rival to Pikachu, and because he has been in every Pokemon Anime episode. The reason I even use the anime as a basis is because that is why Pikachu got in, because he was popular due to the anime. |

| I'm fairly certain that Pikachu got in because he's the frickin MASCOT for Pokemon. Though the anime obviously had a little influence on Smash, since the Pokemon say their names, which originated there. |

Though the anime obviously had a little influence on Smash, since the Pokemon say their names, which originated there. Pikachi wasn't the mascot of Pokemon. At the beginning of Pokemon, for the most part the mascots were Charizard, Blastoise, and Venasaur. Pikachu became the mascot after the frickin ANIME. |

| No, I'm pretty sure Pikachu was in the anime because he was the mascot. Especially since the mascot was originally going to be Clefairy and Ash was going to get a Clefairy to start with until Japan took a poll where Pikachu came out on top and Jigglypuff came in 2nd. Guess which two Pokemon got in Smash? If anime was the biggest factor, we would've had Meowth instead of Jigglypuff, especially when you compare their roles. Also, Meowth over Mewtwo and/or Lucario is a major error. |

Well, my philosophy is that if a character is removed, it is for a reason, and they won't come back. Hence why I didn't re-add Mewtwo or Young Link |

| Your philosophy is foolish, especially when Mewtwo was removed due to time restraints.
Also, Bowser, Mewtwo (again), and Dedede were meant to be in 64, but also cut due to time restraints. They eventually came into the sequels. |

| Time restraint's apparently a big issue throughout the series. Hopefully the advent of DLC means that cut characters make a return. |

IF there's DLC, characters cut for time are likely to return on later dates. So it would make that reasoning null and void. |

| While it was not outright said that Mewtwo and Roy were cut due to time restraints, it's heavily implied with what information we were given.
1. Sakurai had mentioned that there were more characters he wanted to include, but had to scrap them to finish the game in time. Unlike 64, where he revealed Bowser, Mewtwo, and Dedede, he refused to state who.
2. Mewtwo and Roy have their own fanfare data (everyone has their own fanfare data, but only Meta Knight actually uses his instead of the "main" character's, in this case, Kirby. Wolf is the sole exception to this, as he does not have his own fanfare data.). No other scrapped character (Dr. Mario, Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda/Sheik, Plusle & Minun) has one.
Ergo, you add the two points together, and it's obvious that Mewtwo and Roy were characters Sakurai had to scrap for time.
HOWEVER, Mewtwo has a bigger shot at returning than Roy, given that Mewtwo had been planned for 64, was not a clone, and has been somewhat heavily promoted in recent times. |

| And even then, there's the fact you cut Lucario as well. If it's because of the "Mewtwo was replaced by Lucario so Lucario will be replaced by Zoroark" bullcrap, Ima rage, since Mewtwo was NOT replaced by Lucario. |

| That moveset is really bleh. It doesn't seem much like a moveset for a Dark type Pokemon.
I mean, sure for a regal-like pokemon like Mewtwo and Lucario. It would fit fine.
But since Zoroark is a dark-type, and more oriented to be like a hunched savage predator. The moveset you have envisioned doesn't fit with the Pokemon species you made it for. |

| This is late, but Mecha Bowser as Jr.'s Final Smash would be more unique. |
