Well SF3, CvS2, and a bunch of games that got the move parry, right? A smash brothers game never got that! But what if SSBC got parry! It'll can be useful!
Well, what do you think? Should the move parry be in SSBC? Let me know!

If you want accurate "parrying", you'll have to get good at powershielding. Most people only use that for projectiles, but it's possible to really gear up your reflexes to powershield attacks thrown at you.
Or you can use a character with a counter attack like Peach or Lucario.

Please, no. There are enough ways to dodge as is, and that's not even counting characters with alternate ways of negating damage (Lucario, Peach, Ness, Porky, Fox, etc).

Just think about it... how weird would be for any smash game to have parrying? It's like adding air dodge in a street fighter game... it just doesn't work

Just because those games had it doesn't mean this game should have it, and that goes for any other mechanic that would NOT fit in Smash Bros.

We already have perfect-shielding, which is the EXACT SAME THING as a parry, if you think about it.
