I fail to see how removing any characters in game would improve its overall quality (unless that character is Gooey).

Personally, the only roster change I'd make at this point is replacing Gray Fox with Raiden in his MGS4/Rising appearance. The latter can basically do everything the fomer can, and more.

I disagree, but we didn't start this topic to argue about Tingle. I'm glad that we now know where we stand on the topic of Tingle's existence, but I think it's time we moved back onto the original topic before we get any more off topic. This topic was created to ask for how we can improve Crusade, not a debate on whether or not we should cut Tingle (which isn't even why he was brought up in the first place anyway), and it should stay that way.

having the w key actually work as a replacement to the up arrow key would be great start because i cant play with my keyboard the game wont let me

It does. Set your controls however you want them, it will work. You most likely have left the W key acting in P2's controls somewhere

I'm sure this has already been stated, but I REALLY wanted to bring this up in case it hasn't been stated at all (as it's something Brawl (or melee? Dunno if they did this or not) did right, and I personally feel that every smash-related game should have some form of this in it). This feature is B-reversing/Turn around neutral-b. Whatever you wanna call it.

B-reversing being used to shift the character's momentum ended up being the saving grace for characters such as Snake, Olimar, R.O.B., and it actually made neutral special moves more usable for characters such as Luigi, Pikachu, and Yoshi. You can do it with the side special, but neutral special has no turn around and you can only do it the way you're facing. I'm not saying that it'll be as important as it was in SSBB or anything, but it would definitely make neutral special moves such as Gooey's actually useable. Being forced to use a neutral B in the same direction you're facing makes it way too predictable (unless you're using it on them as they fall from an air dodge or something) and kind of useless for characters such as Gooey (I'm only saying Gooey because he's my main and the character I have the most experience with). I don't think this as nearly as much of a problem on the ground, but it's a big issue in the air. As an aerial player, I'm forced into an awkward situation where if I'm past my short hopping range and I'm actually in the air, then as a Gooey user, all I can do is Down Air and Falling Back Air. I can throw out a down-special, but then they're expecting that later on and it makes it harder to use the down-special when you want to throw them off the stage at a higher percent with it. Neutral B turn around or a B-reversal would just give potential to neutral b usage for characters such as Gooey, who have a terrible neutral B if it's predictable. I believe Ristar is the same way? Correct me if I'm wrong. Regardless, I feel that giving the player to choose which direction they use their neutral-B in some way, shape, or form would be a great tool for players! It can be through a small window (1-5 frames, idunno exactly how the frames work in this game Mad) where they can input a specific direction after starting up a neutral-b, or it can be based on the direction you're traveling in the air while doing a neutral-b (If you're traveling backwards, you turn around when you start up a neutral-b). Whatever you all think would work best if you decide to add it c:.

Uhh... yeah >_<. Just something that would be neat to see in-game. Hopefully Gooey isn't the only character this would be useful for >_>. I know it'd be useful for bomb-kicking in the air as Bomberman if you want to kick a bomb in the direction you're not facing. I guess that's all. Thank you for reading c:. Hopefully this makes sense.

B-reverse exists in 0.9, but unfortunately momentum isn't quite conserved. There might be ways to code it to keep momentum.
