Help my game is bugging out

So I just installed SSBC v.0.9.1 today and whenever I start the game it automatically presses start for me and on the menu it keeps making a sound like if I am holding the arrow keys to scroll really fast and the rest of the controls are unresponsive.

This is a semi-common glitch. The most consistent way to fix it is to reset your pc, although sometime the glitch stops itself Not sure why
