A Tier List Using A Formula (read whole topic) Empty

I decided to make a tier list formula and not a tier list based on opinions. Before you bother on going into the comments and saying "Peach is S tier, what are you doing?" please, let me explain. Firstly, this is the first draft and I wanted to see what the community thought about my formula, so I don't waste my time making the entire tier list with this formula, just to be criticized by everyone, so If you like what you see, say it! Now, I wanted to have two scores and add them together. I decided on a physical score and a general gameplay score. The physical score would be measured in three different categories (range, kill%, and speed). The range would be measured by the tiles on FD, by putting Little Mac on the edge of the tile I would go until the character missed (Counted each tile as 5) to get my range. kill% would be measured by putting Little Mac on the edge of FD and seeing what the minimum percent Mac would be until he would survive (not counting his horrific recovery)using a flick of the C-Stick. Finally, speed would be measured with a timer from one edge of FD to another. I will times the score by 10 in order to create a more diverse range of data. Using a chart (that I made myself), I would assign points based on the scores of the three events. These would be added to find the Physical tier of the character. The second category, general gameplay, was based on community tier lists that were legit, and gameplay that I did with the characters. Both scores were added together for each character and ordered for most to least. So, for those wondering why Peach is B Tier is because she performed the worst in two of the three categories. Also, linked below is the spreadsheet with all the data collected. If anything seems off tell me in the comments! Thanks for the feedback.

:PWThonk:

Interesting formula, however, not entirely accurate. Normally, these lists go off things such as tournament results, character usage, agreed upon potential, consistency, & Match Ups against others. More accurate variables would be kill consistency, recovery, survivability, slipperiness (ability to escape combos), gimp consistency for the matter.

How you see someone like Rayman, Eryu, Auraless Lucario or Link at S tier last version is becuase they had such jank amounts of those, Dominant Stage Control, Killing, Spam you could get away with & nullifies the entire cast because they do so effortlessly & the general cast has problems against their assets (Rayman Aerial control/framedata & down b, Eryu aerial Hadouken spam controlling the stage & versatile moveset, Link's BS base kb on all his moves & low endlag with his large range & no problem killing, and Lucario being all around n just being able to kill you with f smash & aura spehre spam at 60% minimum)

Ontop of that, they just didn't die & always lived long, could recover at will & couldn't be edgeguarded, had decent speed, & had a counter for most situations if not all, or generally plentiful of strong options that outshined the rest.

I get what you're saying Draco, but most of your issues can't be given as a measurable score. It is much harder to give things such as tethers, vertical recovery and combo slipperiness and consistency without being able to create custom stages on SSBC. My idea with this is being able to make a formula that can make a consistent tier list without many opinions. Also, because not many "professional" SSBC tournaments are being played it affects the tier list greatly because metagame is highly important in a competitive game. If you have any ideas on how to create a measurable score for some of the ideas, then let me know.
