Super Smash Bros. Crusade 0.9.1.1 Tier List - March 2018

I am a professional player and I decided to make a tier list of SSBC 0.9.1.1.
Had done a lot of playing with offline CPUs and online human players.

Also like to give a special mention to Gomamon's reporting, including the weight list.

Here is the SSBC 0.9.1.1 Tier List as of March 2018.



- S: Very high viability
- A: High viability
- B: Good viability
- C: Mediocre viability
- D: Low viability
- E and F: Very low viability

To answer some older questions, the best considered alternative characters are factored
as the one character, due to similar moves/weights/playstyles (Lucario, Marth, and others).

Captain Falcon is vulnerable to combos and juggling due to his tall size, heavy weight, and high falling speed. Most of his moves are either difficult to land or slow enough to get himself punished. This leaves to inconsistent matches into his favor among the higher tier characters.

Also, I like to note if you use insults, push dogma, or slander, you're telling me your minds are closed and there is no use in debating.

Interesting to me that Goku and Falcon are so low.  Care to fill me in on your reasoning?  Just curious.

EDIT: Also, where do moveset alts fit into this? Like Marth (centered) should be way lower than Marth (Tipper)

Marth being is S is valid. Toad in B seems suitable for my main in 9.x series anyways. Knuckles 9.1 his move changes brings him down lower for me.

The new patch hasn't even been out for a week, and the game itself hasn't even been out for a month. Please don't make tier lists this early in the meta.

Well, he's not wrong at all, and I'm fine with it; though, honestly, I'd wait for at least a month or two since the last update to make a tier list for any game in general, but that's my opinion anyways.

As for this tier list, I can only see one reason why Chun-Li, and Evil/Normal Ryu would be so low, and that's little to no representation and/or appearances in tournaments. However, I can see them being C Tier at best due to both of them being really great at their ground combo game without the need of jumping, just like in their games. G&W being S Tier is completely out of the blue, IMO, unless I'm missing something. Pac-Man makes a bit more sense, but I barely used him, so I don't know. Falcon is surprisingly low, from the way I'm seeing it, honestly; he should be at least in B Tier, due to how big of a threat he is against much of the cast. Rayman being 2nd best character is very questionable, but Marth makes sense, due to how clunky his animations are. Goku can actually do some stuff, so I'd see him being at least in B Tier.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these, since I didn't put that much time into the game, and at least give me a really good reason behind each character's placement when you get the chance, I'd like to listen to your opinion about it; overall, this game is great, nonetheless, regardless of balancing in general.

no, no listen here everyone posting here, Pika+ has no clue what in the world he's doing and knows little to nothing about competitive crusade. if anything this is a Troll Tier list to callout or trigger the Backroom/people who made the past tier lists. i can assure you all that a Official 9.1.1 tier list will be released soon enough and will be as accurate as it can be.

how do we not know that they're like 14 and trying to help out

this guy is on the crusade Discord and he always saying his favorite characters are the best in the game. so if this tier list is coming from him then its a troll/horrible researched tier list.
(btw, all of his mains are in S tier in this tier list^) so im just trying to let everyone know not to trust this tier list as an Actual Complete and Researched tier list with As Close as possible character Placings.

we havent even had tournaments beyond the release one iirc

Indeed. I'd look to more folk playing competitively as it isn't even ladder worthy as of current with the amount of activity. 11 folk won't do.
