Tunngle Setup and Public Network tutorial (Only 2 minutes long):
Tunngle Private Network tutorial (This is optional as private networks aren't very important when playing Crusade with Tunngle):
How to allow Tunngle through your Windows Firewall: 1. Navigate to Control Panel and select "System and Security". 2. Select "Windows Firewall". 3. Select "Allow an app or feature through Firewall". 4. Scroll down to Tunngle and check both boxes for client and server side.
This is aimed towards those who prefer not to use Hamachi or find that it gives them too many problems. Or those who are not able/do not know how to forward their ports. I would also appreciate if an admin created a "Tunngle Board" thread for the Online Lobby and moved this topic there. That way all Tunngle matchmaking, troubleshooting and concerns can stay isolated in one area.
Hope all of this helps those struggling to play online.

Notes: 1. When installing Tunngle, choose "Simple Installation". "Custom installation" is not necessary. The Tunngle widget is also unnecessary. Feel free to uncheck it if it asks you to include it in the installation.
2. After joining the Crusade public network and deciding who will host the match, simply right click the host's username (found in the far right- hand box), copy the ip and then paste it into Crusade to join the match.
3. Once you are in the Crusade public server, right click the Play button and choose "configure". From the menu, choose "v.0.9.1.exe", or whatever you have renamed Crusade's .exe file to, as the game to launch after pressing the Play button.
4. I, along with Dinner Supreme and a few others, have tested Tunngle extensively. The results have all been positive. Gameplay lag and input delay are both extremely marginal if present at all.

Did you add Tunngle as an exception to your firewall?

What was the issue specifically. I might have ran across it myself. Matter of fact, shoot me a message on Discord. I'm in the Crusade server and I go buy Naota.
