controls, walking and running?

First time trying this the other night, and I can't ever seem to work out how to map walk so that I can do any of the name profile run options like 2tap2run. I figured mapping walk to either direction on the analog stick would automatically make it work for holding to run or tapping to run since walk would already be pressed. Then someone told me I have to map walk to an actual button and hold that down while doing a direction movement in order to run. Neither have worked. I can't seem to figure out how to run. Any help?

I had the same problem of being unable to run.

Fixed it by going into controls and upping the sensitivity on the four directions. I upped the sensitivity almost all the way.

Indeed. If you're on analog, Walk is automatically set to you holding the stick slightly. On Keyboard, you have to set a walk button due to digital input. Definitely mess with your analog sensitivity when inputting controls to find what suits your controller n preference.
