PostSubject: Steve Makes a Comic   Sun Jul 16, 2017 9:21 pm

Hi

Um

I made a comic and I'd appreciate if you would look at it.
It's about some kids doing things in school. It should be a good time.
They're up on DeviantArt, and I'll link the first three pages here.
They'll be up in "episodes" so basically when one part is up, the next 1-3 pages are up too.
Criticism is appreciated. (What to look out for, what I'm doing wrong etc.)
I think that's all I need to say.
Here are the links:

Please look I spent almost a month making this.

Pretty enjoyable overall, quite nice that you can tell the characters apart for the most part despite the lack of color. Artstyle is also fairly consistent which I do appreciate.

Are you trying to go for a more story-driven comic, or just something humorous and episodic?

Somebody actually responded? Exciting!

I'm glad that you pointed it out! I try to make my characters look as different as possible (which is weird because I put them all in uniform).

I'm glad you are enjoying it. For the most part it's going to be more based around humor. It will be episodic but there will be a little bit of continuity going through.

Very enjoyable. The characters are distinguishable both in appearance and behavior. Honestly, SP said most of what had to be said. But I'd like to add that I thought it was actually funny (made me chuckle more than once) and sorta reminds me of Don Rosa (look him up if you are not familiar with his works).

This has potential. Make more!

I mean really? "No character will have their testicles hang out"?
Thanks to you, I had to add two new rules.

I'm glad I'm making people laugh!
Episode 2 is already in the works. I'm just a bit worried about when school starts again... Oh well!

Episode 2 is finished!
It took way less time this time, thank goodness.

Wow Steve, after reading these excellent comics, I can say that you have great potential as they were very entertaining to read. Also I was looking at your artwork and they too are very simple yet fun to look at. I LOVE the one of Nago and Kirby.

Thank you! I really like when people enjoy my work. It's good to know that all my time was not for nothing. (The first episode took a whole frigging month) Also I do try to draw something everyday, so maybe follow me?

Also I might do more of the Drawing over sprite things in the future, but for now I just want to go back to what I was doing when I first started Razz.

Episode 3, "Lunch-Time Stories," is out and ready for reading!

I also put all of the pages and shorts in a folder for convenience.
It's right here: https://omegasteve777.deviantart.com/art/Social-Studies-Lunch-Time-Stories-3-1-699862117
