You already know what TF2 is, you're on the internet, aren't you?

2fort (or Teufort) is a classic Capture the Flag level from the Team Fortress franchise, characterized by a bridge over a lake and the red bade and blu base on either side.

My idea for this stage would be to fight on the bridge while rockets fly across the screen and explosions happening on both bases, along with fire occasionally coming out of either side

Concept: (Along with Doomguy and Heavy sprites)

While this would definitely be the most iconic map, I don't know how much sense it would make from a design standpoint. Where would the blast zones be? You could make the water a blast zone, but the two sides don't make sense as blast zones. That's where the spawn room is. I don't know if I would play a stage without horizontal blast zones.

This is true for pretty much every map except sd_doomsday (hint)

While I think 2Fort is iconic, Badlands or Upward might be easier to make a proper layout with Blast Zones and all.
