 Super Smash Bros. for *BLANK*

I wondered what it would be like if Smash Bros. started on the NES and then got another game every console. So I started a little project where I make a roster for each Nintendo console (Save for a few unpopular ones).

The rosters aren't realistic for they will have more characters than the system could handle. Also third party won't be as limited as it is in real Smash Bros.

Various Rules
1. "Fourth Party" characters will not be added.
2. If the character appears on the console in anyway, it's fair game!
3. If a character from a previous roster appears on a future console, they have to be on the future roster for the respective console. (As in Kirby appears on this roster, and he later appeared in Kirby Super Star, so he has to be on the SNES roster)
4. If a character appears more than once, then they are going to be on every roster after that.

If there is a character that you believe that should be added, please let me know!

SNES, Game Boy, N64, GBA, GameCube, DS, Wii, 3DS, Wii U

is each roster being made with previous ones in mind, or are characters cut and added purely based on the respective console

Each roster being made with previous ones in mind, but the more obscure characters would not return. Tamagon and Bubbles will not be on the Game Boy roster, but Ninten has a pretty good chance of coming back.

I'm making a stage list for Smash NES.

Also I'm thinking about changing the keeping previous rosters in mind thing.

If you were to have Wario, Smash would have to be released really late in the NES lifespan.

I would also probably try to make it realistic to the console's specs, so five or six character maximum. (Mario, Link, Samus, Kirby, Little Mac, Ninten for example)

I don't think there's a need for the specs thing. And who knows, maybe it would be the last game released every lifespan?

I kept a few things in mind.

1. I made it so it would be the last game on the console. Yes it sounds silly but shut up.
2. Breaking the boundaries of the console is part of the fun. Having a roster of 8 characters isn't as great as having a roster of 60.
