Quite surprised there's no Skullgirls topics yet. So yeah, Peacock.
Probably the most unique of the Skullgirls cast, the Cartoon Killer would be an interesting choice for any recent iteration of Super Smash Bros., especially Crusade. With a crazy moveset potential with use of assists and projectiles, more females, and it adds more diversity with characters to the game. She also would fit in with Crusade's style more out of the other characters (except for Annie, Filia or Ms. Fortune). The only issues I can see are lack of usable sprites, considering the quality of Skullgirls' character frame data, and making a moveset isn't easy. I'm here to make things easy for ya.
Side Tilt - Pie Splat. Fast start with kind of slow end lag.
Up Tilt - Springboard Panic. Peacock slams her foot on the floor and a wooden floorboard hits the opponent, with the nail doing an uppercut. After hit, floorboard poofs out of existence.
Down Tilt - Ant Wasted. Laser moves forward. Has decent amount of space.
Dash Attack - Banjo Trouble. Can knock away projectiles on ground like Snake's landmines and Link's bombs.
*AERIALS
Neutral Air: Hammer for the Worms. Can spike.
Forward Air: How To Handle a Chainsaw. Multi hit.
Up Air: Buzzin' Buzzard. Has two hitboxes: Peacock's kick and Avery's knife attack falling down.
Back Air: Robo with a Shotgun. Isn't a projectile. Pushes Peacock back, can be used for defensive movement.
Down Air: Chucks George bomb (shown below) downwards. Can spike.
*SMASH ATTACKS
Forward Smash - Screwball Cannon. Fast on startup. Counts as a projectile, can be reflected.
Down Smash - Red Hot Buckshot. Avery (tiny bird) shoots a shotgun from inside Peacock's hat.
Up Smash - Nice Booby Trap. Same Purpose, without jumping. Works a bit like Smash 4 Palutena's Up Smash with less length.
*SPECIALS
Neutral B - George's Day Out. After tossed, George will slowly waddle across the screen until it touches an opponent, then he explodes. Counts as projectile.
Side B - Bang, BANG, and BANG BANG BANG. Tap for 1st one, stuns opponent. Hold for 2nd one, comes in different style. Tap 3 times for 3rd one, projectile.
Down B - Shadow of Impending Doom. Changes size and type longer it's charged. Will follow Peacock in front of her.
For all drops with Shadow of Impending Doom, go here to Specials: http://skullgirls.wikia.com/wiki/Peacock/Move_List
Up B: The Hole Idea. Works like Zelda Recovery, also can be used for dodging. No offensive use.
*GRABS (WIP)
Down Throw: Burlap Beatdown. Great zoning starter.
Forward Throw: Pushes grabbed opponent forward throw and performs Who's on Next?
Up Throw: Get caught in a cartoon fight bubble. Air combo starter.
Back Throw: Basic toss backwards. No picture.
*FINAL SMASH
Final Smash 1: Argus Agony Starts like Samus's FS, and's like Mario's.
Final Smash 2: Goodfellas. Activated at close range like Ryu's 2nd final Smash.
In conclusion, Peacock has a style that would fit well into Crusade with the moveset and design. I believe she really does deserve a spot. Thank you for reading.

Damn someone beat me to it, orrigially I was going to make a Ms. Fortune thread but never got around to it but oh well, anyway your moveset seems promising I'll support once the entire moveset is made also I'd change the second final smash so that it would be used when close to the enemy instead of after a down throw
Never played Skullgirls, but I really like this character's design and originality. The moveset seems decent so far, but we definitely need a bit more clarification on the details of most of the moves.
For the sake of discussion, now and for all future suggestions of indie characters, can we put aside the argument of "there are other characters more deserving". I know I've been a major proliferator of this in the past, and it's caused a lot of indie character discussions to spiral into the merits of other characters, leaving the main suggestion in the dirt.
That said, I need a bit more completion on this suggestion before I can support. But it's looking good so far!
First off, would Annie of the Stars not be a better rep? She seems to be the "Skullgirls" choice for crossovers, what with her Indivisible appearance.
And anyways...
Just..I'm sorry, Ottsel, but that is a valid point indie-wise. I mean the other characters more deserving thing.
Skullgirls, quite frankly, does not deserve to be in Crusade. Our indie reps should be like Shantae. A long-standing series with a long gaming history that is very popular, and as an added point, with very good relations with Nintendo. A Skullgirls rep..The thing is, it just doesn't seem to really fit in. Like, I can't explain it.
But I do know there are far better indie choices then Peacock. Peacock is not even the main character of a game that has yet to even have a sequel.
No support. The moveset's pretty nice though, but the character is my problem. Having a cool moveset won't get your character in, and neither will them being female.
Man it would be a challenge to use spriters to sprite this character with quality even remotely close to those original Skull Girls animations.
I support; she's the only character in SG I actually like to play as, and regardless of popularity I believe that she is interesting enough to be featured. (And I kind of want to try doing those animations...)

If someone from Skullgirls should be playable, then at least either the mascot/main protagonist, or someone who actually has expierience in being in a crossover.
We can obviously scrap out the mascot/main protagonist choice, because Filia really doesn't have a unique moveset fitting for a Smash game, so only the "expierience in being in a crossover" choice is left, which is Annie.
So yeah, while I do think that the Smash moveset for Peacock really captures everything Peacock is known for, I still think that Annie deserves the spot of Skullgirls rep much more, so no support.

This reminds me how long it's been since I've played Skullgirls. I love the game, and I'd love to see the magnificent indie game represented in Crusade, but Idk about Peacock. Wasn't she the quote on quote "joke" character? But what can I say? I love Joke characters in Smash and I love Skullgirls. Support.

I just looked at the Skullgirls characters, and Peacock was the only one I recognized. Not sure why Filia is the main character... but can't really argue in favor of a secondary character over the main character in a fighting game (Except for Tekken? I think Jin is the main character, but Heihachi is the face of the franchise for some reason).
I guess this is like including Dhalsim over Ryu... I do really like the slapstick Joker-style gameplay and moveset, I'm just not sure how right it is to actually put into the game.
EDIT: I guess I missed Akuma getting into Tekken. Huh. Well, at least that says that we don't necessarily need to pick the face of the franchise as a rep for a crossover.

I still don't really think Shantae can be considered an 'indie' title, considering. It's like saying Professor Layton is indie, or that Donkey Kong Country was indie back in the '90s. Though, despite that, you know I agree with you. I was just trying to be civil and keep myself from shouting SHOVEL KNIGHT in response to this suggestion, largely because I figured it would trigger someone else to shout QUOTE in response to me. Yes, I do think there are several indie characters that should get in before a Skullgirls rep, and I think there are even more non-indie characters that should get in first. But as far as this moveset goes, and pretending there isn't a backlog of more deserving characters, I think this suggestion is fairly solid.
I'm doubtful Skullgirls is getting a sequel, since Lab Zero is working on Indivisible now (which looks awesome).
Akuma's in Tekken?!?

I see where you come from. But what would you get from Annie for a moveset? She isn't playable in the game, and the closest we've gotten to a move is just using a knife. Until we see actual unique abilities in Indivisible, she's a basic swordsman.

See how easily you can do that? Point is, there's always some kind of way to make a moveset. She could use other Skullgirls characters moves, or we wait until Indivisible.
And I got Skullgirls, I'm maining Peacock...but sadly I'm still not supporting, sorry!
As I'm getting into Skullgirls (Despite now having it rip), I'm going to support. Yeah yeah there's better choices and Peacock isn't the crossover/main character, I don't care.
Honestly, while the moveset is unique, I have to say no.
While Skullgirls is a very popular indie game, there are others that are arguably more well-known or more popular, like Shantae, Shovel Knight, and Cave Story. There are other indie games, including Skullgirls, that I would LOVE to see have a form of representation in Crusade, but I feel that a playable representation is a bit much, considering the variety of indie games out there.
I'm a huge fan of Skullgirls, and Peacock is my favorite character (gameplay-wise, no one can beat best girl Big Band) and I like this moveset. Support.
