Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem 3D) Discussion: Hail to the King, Baby Duke_Nukem

"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun!"

Duke Nukem, the foul-mouthed son of a bitch with balls of steel. Duke Nukem Forever may have tainted his legacy, but Duke Nukem 3D is still one of the finest first-person shooters ever made, and Duke's a damn fun character. He's stylish and arrogant, blasting aliens to hell and looking cool while he does it. Even if his more profane dialogue was left out, he's got plenty of personality to bring into Crusade.

In Crusade, he'd be carrying his iconic golden pistol at all times when his moves don't require him to hold another weapon, and he'd have a whole list of taunts pulled from his games that would play randomly as he attacked, a near-constant stream of trash talk throughout the match.

Jab - Pistol-whips with his golden gun. No followups, but can be chained into itself multiple times.
Forward Tilt - Uses his Mighty Boot... that is to say, he kicks the opponent in the chest. Much like Ganondorf's ftilt in the official Smash games, it's got great knockback and is a pretty decent kill move.
Up Tilt - Elbows the opponent upwards. Good for combos.
Down Tilt - Sweeps the leg.
Neutral Aerial - Does a midair spin kick. Not too powerful, but comes out quick.
Forward Aerial - Fires off his pistol forward. Good range given it's a projectile, but pretty low damage and you can only really get one off per jump.
Back Aerial - Does an elbow strike behind him. Low range, great knockback.
Up Aerial - Pulls out a shotgun and fires it upwards. Good range and great kill move, but the kickback sends him crashing to the ground.
Down Aerial - Does a one-footed stomp. Spikes.
Forward Smash - Fires off the explosive shotgun from Duke Nukem 64. Great killmove with good range, but Duke takes 1% damage from the explosive rounds every time he uses it.
Up Smash - Fires his Chaingun Cannon upwards. Does trapping/pummeling damage and launches at the end, but it leaves him open from the sides and it lasts a while.
Down Smash - Plants a Laser Tripbomb on the ground. This works similarly to Snake's landmines, but the explosion is bigger and it's activated not by proximity but by a laser that extends a good distance perpendicular to the Tripbomb, meaning Duke himself could trigger it out of range when an opponent is in its blast radius.
Dash Attack - Bicycle kick.
Grab - Reaches out and grabs the bastard.
Pummel - Knees the opponent in the chest.
Forward Throw - Does a judo throw, then quickly fires off a clip (12 rounds) from his golden pistol after the opponent, each bullet dealing 1% damage.
Back Throw - Tosses the opponent to the floor and then walks over them (each step dealing damage), finishing off with a kick backwards.
Up Throw - Tosses the opponent into the air and fires his Freezethrower after them, trapping them in ice.
Down Throw - Tosses the opponent to the floor and puts a bullet in their skull, leaving them laying there.

Neutral Special - Pipe Bomb

Like some unholy combination of Snake's Grenades and C4, this move has two parts. First, he tosses the pipe bomb out. This is a fairly weak projectile item that can be tossed around by both Duke and his opponent. Then, if the button is pressed again while a pipe bomb is in play, he detonates it, causing an explosion.

Side Special - RPG

Takes aim and then fires a rocket from his RPG. Nothing too special about it, it's fairly similar to Samus's Super Missiles, but if the button is held he can angle the shot up or down.

Up Special - Jetpack

Works like ROB's up special, but if the B button is pressed again while in flight he'll fire off his chaingun cannon.

Down Special - Shrinker

Duke charges up this powerful alien weapon, then it fires a sphere of green energy which shrinks anything it hits. Has a long startup.

Final Smash - Devastator

Duke pulls out his ultimate weapon, the double-barreled, rapid-fire rocket launcher known as the Devastator, and can be freely controlled with it equipped for a time. Pressing A or B fires off the powerful rockets at high speeds, racking up damage to anyone caught in his sights. After a few seconds, the Devastator disappears.
