A Music Suggestion Board (A.K.A; Having Multiple Songs For A Stage)

Isn't it kinda boring how every stage in Crusade has only one song? I think that get's a little boring after awhile (Except for the one on Tetris, but even then that one can get kinda old). I propose that we (the players of SSBC) get to pick out other songs for the stages. Now, my suggested rules are: 1. It doesn't matter if it's from a video game. Why? Because there are some songs that aren't even licensed tracks that would work for some stages 2. It can't be victory fanfare. If you are going to suggest custom vicyory fanfare, do it with the character. 3. The song has to work with the stage. To test this, play the stage while the game is muted while the song is playing in a Youtube video or Newgrounds Audio Portal. and 4. the format can be one of 2 things:

1. The tracks from a game
[Name of song] [Game it Appears in][Stage] (Optional: discussion)

Let's use Theory of Everything and Tetris as an example

Theory Of Everything(Geometry Dash)(Tetris)

This song would work with the stage as it feels kinda like a buildup song.

2. The Unnoficial track

Let's use Just Three Days and Hyrule Castle (I think that's Crusade's Zelda Level) as an example here

Just 3 Days(MandoPony)(Hyrule Castle)

This song would work with any of the Zelda levels, really (There's 2 right?) Because it is basically the Ballad of Skull Kid, a famous character from LoZ. Also the song is just really catchy.



Anyway, I think a Music Discussion Thread is needed. No I did not change topic. It could be split like the 2 discussion threads (character and stage) are right now: Crusade Music and Unnoficial Music. I don't know how to end this post.

The only reason why we don't carry multiple tracks per stage is because of filesize issues. Music eats a lot of space rather quickly (quicker than any other element of the game, actually), and nobody wants to sit through a 2-3 GB download because every stage has 3-4 tracks on it.

However, a music sharing section would be nice, for packs, etc.

Fun fact?: The second most space taken up on the Brawl disc is music (the first being Subspace Emissary).

You do know you can already put your own music in right
We don't want to taint the game with mobile game themes and meme songs but you can if that is what you desire

Yeah, adding your own music to the game like the others said is really easy. Download song, put song in folder, kazaam you're done.

You can even edit victory themes, which is nice.

Fans being able to add their own music to Crusade has been a popular feature to the project since day 1.

And if you have trouble listening to the music while fighting, you can decrease the volume of the SFX, or use Audacity/Wavosaur to increase the music's volume
