Well the paint is all acrylic, and to start you need to find the figures that best suit the body, for example the Kick-Ass is a blank DIY Pop and Ash is Glenn from The Walking Dead. To start work you put the figure in boiling water for 2 minutes, this makes the figure soft and allows the head to be removed making it a lot easier to paint. Once the head is off I start painting using flat brushes and getting fine edges by adding masking tape to places I don't want to paint at the time. Once painting is done you boil the head again and push it back onto the body. To add bits I used white air drying clay. I cut it using a scalpel and placed it over the figure so it sets in the correct shape. Once it's set I remove the piece and superglue it back on the figure. To remove bits (For example the Glenn I used for Ash had a shotgun) I use a scalpel to carefully cut the bits I don't want away. Most Pop figures have solid bodies so you can be brutal with the cutting, however the head is hollow so you need to be more careful. |

| UPDATE: ALEX DELARGE (CLOCKWORK ORANGE)
https://imgur.com/tdiCEFv
This one was really fun to make, the body is actually Billy Jigsaw that was completely shaved of all detail and built up again with clay. The hair is completely custom and the hat actually comes from a Mr. Potato Head xD
I decided to make Alex when I saw how hard they were to get hold of from Funko. Basically Funko made Alex as a figure before they got the rights to him (As is the usual practice) but they never managed to get the right to mass produce them meaning there are only about five of them on the planet. I love the Clockwork Orange movie and I really wanted him in my collection so I decided to custom it. |

| UPDATE: Desmond Miles (Assassin's Creed)
His body was the first thing I ever made a custom for but I only just secured a suitable head. I made this to finish off my Assassin collection, I'll never understand how Desmond was snubbed in favour of characters like the Plague Doctor from ACII.

What other characters have you thought of making in the near or distant future? I have a good list of characters I plan to make. Some of the more achievable ones include Ronald McDonald, Hercules, Tarzan, Cole McGrath, Solid Snake, Scorpion, Ryu, Austin Powers and Tune Squad Michael Jordan. The one I'm most excited to make is going to be Charlie Chaplin, because I'm going to try paining him entirely in greyscale. Only problem is that I have to wait for the Twelth Doctor's release to get a decent body base. EDIT: I finished my next figure! UPDATE: Ironmax (Baymax + Iron Man)This one has a little bit of history to it. Basically I bought a Baymax off eBay but to my dismay it was a cheap knockoff. Luckily I managed to get a refund from eBay and got to keep the figure. I didn't want to display it as it was because of the quality of the plastic so I decided to have a little fun with it. https://imgur.com/bFEcWXI |

| UPDATE: Daredevil (Netflix TV)
One of my simpler designs but still fun to make as I loved the show. He was made from a Star Trek Scotty figure, which was painted black along with clay around the top half of the head. The subtle red lines on his shirt were made from picking off the paint leaving Scotty's red shirt exposed, I then put a red Sharpie to it to make the lines darker.
