When you minimize the window, or the window is not the primary focused frame, the game will still take input from the keyboard.

+1, this is no bueno. I wouldn't call this a bug though, just lack of a much-needed feature.

I understand the game doesn't pause when not in-focus because of online, but I'm pretty sure you can get around this. I don't see a way to change the "Pause game when form loses focus" option in Game Maker... Maybe something like this? http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=583956

Yeah, I agree that this isn't a bug; though, I decided to put this comment in this thread because it has a better chance of being seen by a developer and rectified. It's annoying when the game is not in focus or is minimized, that it still takes keyboard input. Hopefully the developers take note and resolve this in the next patch. Besides this, I'm enjoying this game and hope to see grow in content and popularity.

Yes this is annoying. The only solution when you're online is press Page Down before minimizing which is some good advice from another smash. Term "smash" means player? May the best smash win. Silly
