 Boring final smashes...

Some characters have very simple final smashes where they just hold a player, give him a bunch of punches and then launches him off. This final smashes may be usefull but boring and not unique, this is a list of characters wich has that type of final smashes:

-Waluigi
-Lucario
-Toon Link
-Ness
-Little Mac
-Saki
-Ristar
-Goku

Some ideas:

Waluigi: In Mario power tennis Waluigi gets trained with a machine wich shoots bombs, for this final smash, Waluigi has to be near an opponent, then the machine appears behind the opponent and start throwing bombs to Waluigi, Waluigi has to press the special attack botton to hit the bombs with his tennis racket to the opponent. The many hits the player does the more effective the final smash is, and it shouldn`t be difficult to hit each bomb.

Saki: A bit like Snake`s final smash, he goes out of the battlefield and start shooting everyone like in his game

Ristar: You might remember that ristar appears in Sonic & Sega all stars racing, hier he could pick up his flag and cars start appearing damaging opponents.

Little Mac:
Giga Mac`s transformation from SSB4

Toon Link: Toon Link`s final smash in v.08 was fine but I understand that you removed it beacuse now the four sword heroes are Link`s Palletes, but in the Minish Cap when Link uses his sword to make appear clones of him they appear looking similar to him but a little more brighter, you could add that instead of the boring sword combo that he has in the current version or most likely his final smash from brawl.

Ness: His new final smash from SSB4, it is different to the one that Lucas has.

Lucario: Brawl`s final smash or Mega Lucario from SSB4

Goku: In SSF2 when Goku has his final smash and uses his down especial he creates some kind of giant energy ball and throws it down, that could be his crusade`s final smash.

I hope you change some of those combo-based final smashes.

What about Peach's Final Smash. It was the second worst Final Smash in the entire Smash Bros. series next to Konga Beat.

Second-worst? In terms of being boring?

I think it's pretty unique, even if its somewhat out-of-the-blue. I think this thread is more focused on lock-combo final smashes, like ones where an initial hit locks the foe into an animation.

Given that he also mentioned Konga Beat, he probably meant in terms of usefulness.

Peach's final smash can be fixed by making it put everyone to sleep, regardless of where they are. The question would then be, is that broken?

Wouldn't be if it had a radius instead of just hitting everyone everywhere, or if it put them to sleep without doing any damage.

Maybe. It would need some extra graphics, since the pink frame follows the camera and can't be used as the radius. Probably something to think about for the inevitable resprite.

I'm not sure I follow. Do we need to graphically represent the radius? If so we might want to do the same for Kirby's FS. I wouldn't spend too much time on it either way.

Huh, you're right about Kirby not having any graphics either. Maybe both need some effect. But yeah, I agree, this would be very low priority.

If Petey's Final Smash worked more consistently, it would be pretty cool IMO. I think it's buggy at the moment.

More so than being buggy, it's uninspired and extremely lackluster.
